Our area has gotten a ton of rain this year and our basement was feeling kind of wet. So we decided we needed a dehumidifier. I didn't want anything big, so the small size of this machine was appealing. And the disco lights. I have to say, we like disco lights in general, but this is actually functional as well because I can see at a glance when the tub is full, and I now have a permanent nightlight in my basement! After a day or so, the machine really hit what I guess I'd call peak performance, and since then it has chugged along steadily and efficiently. I have to empty the tub every two days or so, depending on rain and how much moisture is in the air. Overall I would say I like it very much and would recommend. I DO wish the piece of tubing included was about 18" longer. But finding a similar tube with a similar diameter isn't too hard.

I bought this dehumidifier for my basement and ran it for a day and overnight. Unfortunately, the machine did not handle the humidity to my liking. I submitted to Amazon for a return. The supplier contacted me and offered me a refund and said I did not need to return. I was impressed with the speed that they contacted me (even before I could box up the item to return). I would do business with this supplier again. They were more responsive than any other supplier I have used on Amazon.

Works very very slow, on for over 12 hours and only produced 3 ounces of water, small and compact, not energy efficient. Has a nice look but not effective.
