Now that I'm retiring, I'm getting back into cooking from fresh produce and needed a 9x13 to meet the demands of many recipes I'm collecting. I've been reading about the long-term negative affects of using aluminum foil, and wanted a casserole with a lid - which I was surprised to find that most (nice looking ones) do not have. This deep, 3 quart casserole dish with glass lid and handles is a great dish for any kitchen. It's a great size any night for a family dinner, to take to potlucks, for Thanksgiving gatherings, to keep a make ahead meal in the refrigerator, etc. The side handles and the lid handle are all easy to hold. The clear, see through glass allows good visibility of the contents. It is perfectly smooth on the inside for easy cleaning, keeping the nice fluting and ridged design only on the outside. I am very pleased with this lidded casserole dish and would recommend it for most households. It can make a nice wedding or housewarming gift.

Ich hab genau so etwas gesucht, denn ich mag diese "blickdichten" Auflaufformen nicht, bei denen man immer den Deckel abnehmen muss, um kurz mal nachzuschauen.Außerdem passt dieses Set auch in meinen älteren Gas-Backofen, was nicht bei allen anderen Formen der Fall war und schon deswegen gibt es einen Stern "zusätzlich". ;-)Von der Verarbeitung her kann ich nichts bemängeln, keine scharfen Kanten, der Deckel passt sehr gut, schließt aber nicht hermetisch ab, was kontraproduktiv wäre.Sowohl der Auflauf, als auch das Huhn, waren am Ende genau so, wie ich es wollte und ich würde sogar sechs Sterne vergeben, weil das Set, wenn man es bezahlen müsste, auch noch echt günstig ist !Verpackt war es in einem schlichten Karton, aber trotzdem absolut sicher !
