I havent installed it yet, but can say it looks and feels like a good buy for the current price of $14. Feels heavy duty and its all metal. Easy to move the knob-lever thingie. I really appreciate that its all metal. Well all metal externally, some bakelite involved for insulative purposes. They specifically mention bakelite in the listing as one material material used. When somebody goes to all the trouble to make something all metal in 2023, usually sign its likely to have some longevity.They suggest using it as theft prevention. Yea suppose if you hid it, though dont think thieves hotwire cars anymore, too complex, they put them on trailer and haul them off. But keep kids from joy riding or borrowing vehicle unauthorized, should they find the key. I suggest its maybe more useful for cars with a hard to find parasitic short that drains the battery. Save manually pulling the battery cable.

Both switches I have purchased are junk.Will degrade flowing amperage by 2/3th. Useless junk.

A good quality, well made battery switch. Compact, easy to install as any switch of the type. The only issue I found was the small amount of pressure that it takes to switch it off. I wouldn't mount it somewhere that it could easily be bumped by anything, or you will eventually experience a sudden loss of batt power when the switch is inadvertently bumped and triggered. There may be some situations where this is a desired feature.
