Pfeilring Chinese cleaver has a straight, strong blade that is 7 inches (18 centimeters) long. Knife is designed to slice through meats easily. Knife is hot forged and precision sharpened; each knife requires over 40 steps to complete. Made in Solingen, Germany of high quality stainless steel for long life and enjoyable use.

    Excellent professional knife

After some reading and research, I decided on this 8-inch cook's knife and a 6" utility knife. I'm very happy on my decision, and these are the best knives I ever had. The large knife is used for most meal prep, and the smaller knife is used for more delicate cutting (for fruits, etc.)German engineering and Solingen made steel at its finest – great addition to my kitchen!The handle fits my hand perfectly and most important the balance is excellent. The knives are extremely sharp and the other (cheap) knives I own feel dull in comparison, and the handles are simply uncomfortable.This Pfeilring knife and the utility knife I bought are of superior quality and worth every penny. I highly recommend it!
