Pricey, but worth it. Could probably stop a small caliber bullet.
The whole Stanley Wildfare / Wildfare Pro lineup has been amazing. These bowls are no exception Yes, they are pricey. Yes, they are likely pricier than the competitors. But they are so well made! You see right away when they show up where your extra money went with these. They are incredibly durable, profoundly easy to get clean in a camp sink, very good looking - these are great! If you already have some Wildfare stuff, consider buying these to expand your collection. I get nothing but compliments on mine.If there's a "downside" at all, it's that they aren't microwave safe - but you shouldn't be worrying about using a microwave when you're living in the bush anyway!

Pretty nice bowl, but with high price point
This Stanley Wildfare steel bowl is a pretty good campware accessory. I like that it's lightweight and dishwasher safe. I was a bit surprised to see its size; I hadn't really focused on its dimensions on the Amazon webpage, and it was smaller than I'd expected. No problem, and it can be an asset if you're backpacking. The bowl has a nice appearance; the off-white pebble finish is quite attractive, if having a nice looking camping bowl is important to you. The website says you can 'elevate your culinary experience' with it, but that's pretty much the furthest thing from my mind when I'm preparing food while camping. I don't dress up for dinner then, either; you may have different preferences. The bowl's capacity is 500ml (about two cups), which is enough for a lot of purposes. My first thought was as a travel dog water bowl, but I don't think that's what they have in mind. It could be used for cereal, etc., but I always prefer a bigger bowl for soup and such. Anyway, it's well made and should work nicely during travel. The only issue I have with this Stanley bowl is its price point; at twelve bucks, you can get a range of pretty nice campware, and bowls aren't exactly high tech items. (This doesn't apply when you go into some outdoor stores, where a pair of shoelaces is apt to run into triple figures.) I think you'd do better just buying a small steel bowl for less money. Still, it's a pretty good bowl, and for me, it's apt to be limited to backpacking or other situations where space is at a premium. Or, maybe as a dog bowl. We'll see.

the lip of the bowl has a gap - please fix this
I am not a camper but I do like Stanley products for their stainless steel wares. This bowl is not very large but it is fine for prepping food or even serving. I like this for fresh berries that I keep in the fridge and when I'm ready to snack on them, I feel they stay a bit colder than if I were to use a glass bowl. I don't like how the lip of the bowl has a gap betewen the edge and the bowl. This gives an opportunity for water or other food juices to just collect inside with no way of fully cleaning it / letting it dry. Please improve this.

great bowl for camping
Product being reviewed: Stanley Wildfare Pro Stainless Steel Bowl 16 OZ Pale PebbleThis is a great camping bowl for MREs, cereal, or really anything else. Can even be a great water bowl for the dogs. The bowl is thin and lightweight, but not in a bad way. It makes it more packable. Feels good in my hands with the gentle rounded shape on the bottom. Visual appearance is pleasing with the painted exterior, like a tumbler. Inside of the bowl has a nice brushed finish. Only downside I see is the price is on the higher side.
