The Granny Square Card Deck: 50 mix and match designs

These cards are well made, clear and concise instructions in a very sturdy box. I bought this set and the other set they have. One is just Granny Squares and the other Flower Granny Squares. You could pull the card(s) that you are working and put in with the yarn for on the go or just sitting down and crocheting.

Love the Granny Squares by Claire Montgomerie, there's a great variety from beginner to advance crocheter. Some even have a 3D element to it. It helps me to go at my own pace and get outside my comfort zone and grow in my craft.

These little cards are so much fun to play with! They have inspired a great deal of crochet projects. They are very sturdy and easy to use.

I recieved this as a gift! I love the big pictures and the well written directions. As others have said, I wish there was actual variety in the patterns as there are a lot of patterns that are just a color change or some other small variation. Good for beginners, but as an intermediate or advanced crocheter the lack of variety was a bit disappointing.

This little box contains patterns for various styles of the granny square pattern. It is helpful for the crocheter to have more of a variety to make instead of just the traditional granny square.

I love this granny square card deck. Nice thick color cards for each design and the stitch grid on the other side. I'm not good at reading stitch charts; however, I can read these just fine and referring to the color photo makes it easy. Love the information in the User Guide booklet. The beginning has a stitch guide in US and UK terms and diagrams. This would make a nice, easy project to do one granny square a week for 50 weeks and then sew them together when finished to make an afghan. Looking forward to picking out yarn and starting the project after my current project is complete. I like it so much, I bought another one to give to my crochet friend for her birthday. So glad I found this gem!

The patterns/directions were difficult. I would not recommend for a beginner, these are for experienced crocheters who can read/follow patterns really well. There are some really cute granny squares in here though.

Just got my deck the other day. I have looked through the booklet and the cards. The instructions look easy to follow and the cards will be very handy. I am looking forward to using them to work on a blanket I started awhile back. I just need to finish my current project before I start playing with new patterns! (All you crocheters probably get this! LOL!). If you like granny squares, this is perfect!
