Global7-piece Ikasu Knife Block Set

I have always wanted a Global knife set, finally got around to pulling the trigger on buying a set because of the price. Found out about Global knives from an Anthony Bourdain book. Very sharp, light weight, and great quality. I could tell day one, i will have this set for many years to come. Definitely just buy a good quality knife sharpener and learn to use it correctly and this will be a life long kitchen knife set.

This set includes an assortment of different sizes of knives. It can be argued that one good Chef's knife is all you need but I find that having a blade the size of the job at hand is far better than having one large knife to force into every role.These knives are nicely balanced and feel good in my hand. They cut effortlessly and seem to be made of very good steel.I bought Global's ceramic honing rod separately and bored a hole in the knife block to hold it. It's great for maintaining a nice straight cutting edge after use.After years of using cheap kitchen knives from big box stores this is a major upgrade. I think they will please you as much as they do me. If Anthony Bourdain recommended them, that says something.

I love these new and high quality kitchen knives. I will buy a new wood block that I like better. They seem to be really well built and super sharp.

Bought these for my boyfriend for Christmas. He loves to cook. After using these for the first time he hasn’t used another knife we’ve had ever since. Loves the sharpness, how thin he can slice different vegetables and meats. Allows him to present his creations in the way he sees fit beforehand to execute a visually appealing plate to complement his talents with creating a flavorful, healthy meal! Highly recommend this set!

I bought the Global 7-piece Ikasu Knife Block Set as a Christmas present for my son, who complained about his old set dulling too quickly. He likes my old Global knives, so I decided to bite the bullet and buy him some Global knives. My son LOVES his Global knives! One of the features that he especially likes is the all-in-one piece construction. The knives are very nicely balanced and don't wiggle when cutting because the handles don't have wood/plastic pieces riveted to them. Yes, hand-washing is required to keep the knives in tip-top shape, but he says that it's a small price to pay to have great, sharp knives!

This is a great knife set at a very good price.

This knife set is awesome better than l expected. I bake sourdough bread weekly and the bread knife is amazingly sharp goes through the tough crust with ease. The chefs knife is amazing as well. Would definitely recommend.

We are very pleased with the feel and performance of these knives.We especially like the fully integrated handle and blade and the fact that they slice so cleanly.They passed the first test, which is to easily slice through a tomato skin.Using these knives at our son's house prompted us to buy a set.
