One of the better powerline-ethernet kits available on the market today. Zero dropouts experienced in 9 months of use thus far. Setup is fairly quick and easy, with the main extender serving a web page for admin settings. I have not tested connectivity speeds, but I am able to stream 4K video without buffering from a NAS drive.

On Xmas day my TV advised that it was no longer connected to the internet. After a bit of troubleshooting I discovered that the TP link plugged into the wall next to my router was completely dead. It was a number of years old however, so not a surprise. I ordered this as a replacement on Xmas day and it arrived only 2 days later. Considering the time of year this was excellent service. The plugs came with 2 new Lan cables which I was not expecting. Plugging them into my PC and TV took a couple of minutes. Once switched on, they connected virtually immediately. I now have full internet restored with a transfer rate of 1GBps instead of the 200Mbps my old devices were capable of. This is an excellent product for connecting your TV to a router situated in another part of your house.

Bought as replacements for previous adapters that suddenly stopped working. Easy set up, just plugged in, switched on and that was it, worked immediately. Am using adapters to connect router to set-top box and are more than satisfactory in terms of speed and signal for what I want.

Update: No support response from the maker, so they're being returned. Rating reduced accordingly. Bought these to connect NAS to laptop between floors, which are capable of saturating a gigabit ethernet connection (100MByte/s) but 20m of cable up the stairs is unacceptable :) Set-up is very simple - best way is to plug both into a power strip so you can hit the "pair" buttons at the same time. Once paired, you can then plug them into the desired location... always remembering to deploy them in a wall-socket, not power-strip. However, there are two issues: First is the speed - even sat in adjacent sockets, the speed tops out at ~27MB/s, so between a quarter and a third of the claimed gigabit speed. In the intended locations, it barely reaches 10MB/s Second is the support section of the website. I hoped to find a firmware update or some kind of config tool to tweak the connection. Unfortunately, the only offering under "software" is a link to a .img file on sharepoint.com which won't mount as a disk image, nor can I find an app to open it. I don't even recognise the headers in a hex editor! So, I've submitted a support request, and I'll update as appropriate - either there's a firmware update that improves throughput, or they're getting returned.

Comes with two Ethernet cables. Easy set up, good quality but they’re very chunky so I can’t actually plug anything else next to them in my extension leads but they’re fast so I can’t complain.
