I've used Harbinger products for many years. They're excellent and stand up to a lot of abuse. Historically I've had the wrist strap versions, but my focus has changed and I don't lift so heavy these days.This version has split palm pads. I was skeptical at first, but it actually forms around the bar a little better, so for deadlifts etc, there's a bit less grip slippage.In the past, I've had issues with the pinky of the glove rotating, so the contact surface is leather and not the padded surface. It didn't make much difference comfort-wise, but caused the glove to wear a lot faster. These aren't doing that, so I'm hoping they'll last longer than previous.

Whatever has happened to bicycle gloves? I check all the bike stores, big box stores and boutique outlets. Biking gloves have sadly slid to the less is more attitude. They are so very slight and thin and lacking terribly as far as protection goes. My bare skin is thicker than almost all biking gloves out there right now. I cannot see spending good cash on wispy gloves that basically just give color to your hands and not much more. If you topple you can count on road rash of the palms and fingers. I ride both road and mountain bikes, I have five bikes all together. These Harbinger weightlifting gloves are thick as a brick! I found them at Dicks Sporting goods but now I order them direct from home. I wear an extra large and they feel so very comfortable. The support is awesome and they are very durable-lasting a very long time after much use and abuse, I hit the deck sometimes and come away with no palm, finger or wrist injuries. I find no abnormal wear or degradation with my heavy use, they hold together very well. The only thing is if you sweat a lot, like when riding long distances in this crazy Florida heat, you may experience some bleeding of red dye from the leather onto you hands. Be VERY careful when washing them in the machine-the red dye will tint your clothes if you are not. Otherwise these are the best "bicycle" gloves out there. They feel excellent wearing them, you can be confident in their protection, they last a long time with heavy use. What more could you ask for? Get yours now!
