Sturdy and well made
The toy is well built. All the pieces fit perfectly, and in Montessori fashion, they have ”control of error.” Each piece can only fit into one hole, so your child can self-identify if theyve made a mistake. The side that is open so the pieces can be released out of the toy is strung with elastic string so the pieces don’t fall out until you’re ready to release them. Another benefit of this is that it acts like my kid’s Inny Bin toy, which is great because he’s currently too young to be able to match the shapes to their holes. This is a way that he can enjoy the toy for longer.

This is a great little shape sorter. More pieces and shapes than many I’ve seen. Solid wood everything. Elastic cord covers the opening to keep blocks inside. Also can be rolled around the floor making a rattling sound babies will enjoy.
