FILA Accessories Segmented Jump Rope

I’ve been jumping rope kind of consistently for about two weeks now. Up until today, I used a jump rope from Target that was around $10. It has thick foam handles and a licorice rope. It was functional, but the rope didn’t spin at the handles and would get tangled often. I worked up to 20 minutes of jumping rope (in intervals), at a maybe more than average speed. Today, I used the FILA jump rope for the first time. I really enjoyed the weight and it spins nicely doesn’t tangle, but the beads that make contact with the ground started breaking. Maybe three of them broke off in a single 20 minute session. Of course, I am a beginner so I’d sometimes stumble and step on the rope, so that didn’t help. I don’t really mind that the beads break since it’s so inexpensive. But I wouldn’t go and buy it again, since it seems I’d have to replace it every few weeks.

I wanted a jump rope like the ones we used to use in grade school P.E., but one in a tasteful color that was long enough for an adult-this one fit the bill. It also has a nice quality weight to it and provides a “clack” to help keep tempo.

I got this for myself, for my daughter to teach me some of her jumps from her jump squad. I haven't learned any yet cuz I'm lazy but it definitely seems like a good quality rope.

The length of this jump rope is EXTREMELY long. We had to untie it, remove beads, cut it, and retie to make it usable.

Great jump rope for the price. The only set back is that the rope might fray with use by the handle.

Had high hopes for this jump rope but it broke after 2 weeks of common use. Very disappointed.

Mine got riped of the first day i got it i jumped for 20 min. And all the segments flew all over the gym it was crazy :)))

Apart from the flimsy handles I really like the rope. It's adjustable and has just enough weight
