New Look 6292 Size A Misses' Tunic or Top and Pull-On Pants Sewing Pattern, Multi-Colour

I'm not a beginner but haven't done any sewing for the last three years so thought I needed a refresher, it's easy to forget methods and what not. However, I needed some new casual summer trousers so when I saw this pattern for a good price I jumped at the chance to get out my machine again. I bought some Challis and have made a nice pair of trousers in a couple of days. I made a 16 and I am pleased with the fit overall. I probably will make one of blouses to go with them as I have some material bought ages ago sitting waiting to be used. Didn't have to adjust the pattern much only the length as I am 5ft 3in. Delivery by Minerva and Amazon was next day so very pleased with everything.

This is a lovely pattern, so far I’ve just done the trousers. The only problem is someone has obviously bought it, traced the top so cut out the pattern and then folded back and returned it. On a positive note it saves me cutting it but there is a piece missing, although I can do this myself so not critical. Not the sellers fault so I’ve kept it.

Ive never made clothes before and thought I'd try so bought a sewing machine and this pattern. So easy to follow and fitted perfect to sizing on pattern, size 20. Top came out perfect, and made 7 now, bought another one as scared it becomes unavailable but it's surprisingly strong and it's still perfect to use my first even though pins have been in and out for 7 tops, I'm sure it will last year's of use.

The pattern is fine and is well-priced. However, it was dispatched by Amazon without an envelope, so a large address sticker was stuck to the pattern picture itself. A cost saving measure too far! Fortunately, I was able to peel this off with some care and effort, so I can see the picture now. I just have to deal with the sticky residue on the product now!

If your curvy you really need to alter this pattern too much I'm a size 20 and struggled with it. I have made the pants, I would use a stretchy fabric. The good things are good size options, not 33 inch leg, and not baggy on the arm. The crutch is narrow but the seem allowances is spot on.

Always like these payterns.simple to ise.

The end result is a bit skimpy so I would suggest going for a size or 2 bigger unless you like the figure hugging look.
