Best money I every spent!
After catching a snake in my nesting boxes I found this on Amazon. We have relocated 4 snakes from my hen house to a local barn where they can hunt mice and rats and leave my eggs alone. We'll worth the money! The pole is long enough I don't have to get close to grab the snake. Well pleased with this tool.

Nice to have when you have to many snakes in your yard.
Works pretty good. Have used it to catch and relocate 4 pretty large rattlesnakes so far.The locking clip is a joke. It is not safe to rely on it when you have a pissed off poisonous snake in its jaws. The clip can fall down and get in the way of closing the jaws also. Best to remove the jaw locking clip.

Lock it..
Just make sure you lock it when you have the snake in the grabbed position.

It doesn't work well.
This is a snake trap I bought. Its quality is not very good and its practicality is a bit poor. It's not easy for me to hold other things, so I dare not use it to catch snakes.

Constructed well!
Made well and very long to keep snakes away from you when handling them!

It will come in handy if a snake makes it in your yard. (like it did wit us).
I bought this for my husband and we live next to a forest. We are fenced off from the wild & rarely do we see a snake. But my husband ran into one while working the yard (non poisonous by the way . My daughter captured it and we returned it to the forest area (away from our fenced off home) I bought the snake catcher for my hubby incase another one someday gets down here in our back yard. Or I can call my daughter :) Oh we have seen them before, but they are usually gone and don't hang around.
