A nice treat that you can share with your best friend!
Honestly, I bought this for my dog who went absolutely crazy when we received a gift of See's candy. He's disappointment at not getting candy was too much to bare. We put them in the See's tin so he thinks it's really special. For a few of these...he will do almost anything! Of course I had to taste the chips (which are a smaller than Nestle's) and much to my surprise, they are very good! Not the funky tasting hippie food I remember my sister trying to make me eat in the 70's. This is as close to a milk chocolate as I think you'll come.

Tasty little dessert
I have been avoiding chocolate because it causes acid reflux, so I have been tricking my brain into believing this is chocolate. I have been grabbing a small handful, one or two tablespoons after dinner, instead of having a big fattening dessert. This satisfies my sweet tooth! I like the fact that this brand contains considerably less sugar than the other carob chip brand commonly found in stores, which is better in my opinion. I also use these carob drops to make a trail mix of carob, nuts, and raisins.

carob that actually tastes chocolatey? AWESOME
I have a cocoa and cocoa butter allergy--really bad, actually. These make me miss chocolate a lot less :)Carob really is not the same as chocolate and most of the carob recipes are really weird. These taste more like chocolate than the other carob products I have found. They are a nice treat.Pricewise, they are about the same as better quality chocolate chips.Tastewise, they taste like halloween chocolate (so don't expect a Ghirardelli taste, folks), but unlike halloween chocolate these are not going to make me sick.I am really glad I found these, and I plan to reorder regularly.

Amazing flavor, sweet, but packing was a flop
The flavor was all that I had hoped for, and I will order again, but not until winter time. I mistakenly ordered these little gems in the heat of summer, and the package arrived as one solid melted chunk of carob. I am not able to bake as intended with them. I froze the package and tried to break apart - no good. I will have to chop the chunks, spending a lot of time to make this product usable. Do not order in the heat of summer, they are not packaged to withstand shipping in the heat. [I should have known better - was not thinking - and I did not look to see if they warned of this on their product description].

Perfect snacking substitute!
I am trying to replace chocolate for health reasons, at least temporarily, but I still have cravings. These carob chips do the trick! They aren’t exactly like chocolate, but the small size, texture, and sweetness are perfect in my granola and yogurt. Also, the customer service was excellent . I was disappointed when I accidentally received mini marshmallows instead, but as soon as the team heard from me, I received the carob chips I had ordered the next day.

Not enough chocolate flavor
For someone who loves dark chocolate but can no longer have it because of an allergy, I decided to try carob chips. However, they don't really taste chocolatey at all. It gets the job done if you just want to make cookies seem like they have chocolate chips in them, but you're definitely not going to want to snack on these. Maybe that's a good thing. Time to just get over the chocolate cravings...

Perfect for Someone Like Me
As someone who isn't allowed to eat chocolate due to dietary restrictions, carob is amazing. It tastes enough like chocolate that I get my fix without feeling like it adversely affects my health. I wish they didn't have soy product in them, as that is something else I am supposed to avoid but we do what we can! If you have been thinking about trying carob but haven't yet, I recommend you do!

Great for carob chips, mild flavor
People are giving these a low rating because they expect carob to be a one to one replacement for chocolate, flavor wise. It's from a different plant, and of course, it tastes different. This has a mild, but unmistakable flavor and I enjoy it as a snack. The chips you can buy in bulk food bins at your local store tend to be drier and feel like they are coated in a powder, and they have a stronger scent and flavor, fyi.
