The product came as 2X 10 metre light strips. One strip was used under wooden seating around a fire pit and looked great with just the right brightness.Unfortunately the second strip did not work correctly with only the first metre lighting up. A quick call to Tendist customer support team resulted in a replacement strip arriving within a few days.It is a great product but even better satisfaction knowing that customer support team are there to help when an issue occurs.

The media could not be loaded.  Have been redecorating daughter’s bedroom and wanted to replace the LED lights around the top because the original ones never really worked very well. Decided to go for these because I liked the neon effect and the Wi-Fi interface. The light is emitted through one of the edges of the strip And is very diffused light so you cannot see the individual LEDs. Can be cut to length at certain cut points and if you’re skilled with a solder iron can re-solder to cut ends. App set up is very easy as is interface with Alexa. Lots of different colour effects accessible via the app. All in all, an excellent product and very pleased with the results. Can definitely recommend.

Awesome, easy to install with the clips provided and easy to control/setup. Once setup controlled by Alexa voice command.

This 5 metre neon strip is about 10 mm wide and is very flexible so could be shaped into a design if desired rather than just running in a straight line and being rated as IP68 will certainly be suitable for outdoor use. The problem comes with powering it up as the 24V/0.5A power adapter is definitely not waterproof although I think that the remote control receiver is. The latter is fitted with in-line connectors which have screw cover caps so they do look as if they should be okay for use outdoors. The strip can be fixed to a smooth clean surface using either the self adhesive stickers or for a more robust fixing the screw clips, both of which are supplied.The strip can be controlled using the remote control which operates with a pre-installed CR2032 battery, or by the “Surplife” app which can be downloaded for both Android and IOS. The remote has the capability of providing on/off, brightness, speed change, various RGB colours as well as warm white, a 1, 2 or 3 hour timer, and 3 music modes. These music modes cause the LED’s to change when external sound is picked up by the receiver, and vary in colour change depending on which mode is selected.The App provides many more functions and colour displays than the remote control, and also a music mode which enables the LED’s to change when music is played from my phone, so great for parties and the like.So overall this is a good outdoor neon strip light with the only caveat being to find a suitable home for the power adapter to protect it from getting wet. Being neon these strips are more expensive than regular outdoor LED strips but of course provide very much increased flexibility to customise designs. This one though is perhaps priced higher than some similar ones out there.

The 5-meter length is right for my outdoor setup. The lights are flexible and easy to install, making it simple to create the designs I want. I like that they are Wi-Fi compatible and work with Alexa, which adds convenience. The music sync feature is a fun addition for parties, making the lights flash to the beat. The silicone material feels durable and high-quality. The only thing is that the white light isn't the brightest.

Only displaying one colour at a time.

I really like the RGB rope lights, they give off a beautiful show of light colors. This rope light has a solid stream of light which is something I was looking for. With the remote you can change the colors, the brightness, the sequencing mode and more. You can also use Alexa or google to operate the light strip.They are flexible which makes them easy to install and the silicone housing makes them quite durable. Great RGB LED rope lights.

But for the biggest variety of choices, simply install the "Surplife" app on your phone, pair it to your Wi-Fi, and control it easily from your phone. It's also significant that it supports Alexa, as that is how I control most of my home's other lights.Set-up and installation is very easy, though I do wish they would give more than the 10 included clips for attaching the strip to things. I also recommend using the metal screws with the clips, since the tiny adhesive pads are simply not strong enough to support the weight of the neon strip, at least not for me, but I guess it depends on the surface.But overall, this is a good light rope if all you want is a glow of a single colour — indoors or out! — for whatever mood you're aiming for.5 STARS!!!

I guess I've been spoiled by other light ropes that can do this.But overall, this is a good light rope if all you want is a glow of a single colour for whatever mood you're aiming for. Nice LED tape, does decently well at giving a similar effect to neon light. Useful for all sorts of lighting needs, whether accent lighting, signage, mood lighting, etc.Didn't really bother trying the app with this set yet, I personally kinda hate how such apps tend to be bloated and require seemingly frivolous permissions (Can't say specifically regarding this app, but my experience has been consistent before). Easy to use with the included remote control anyways and they've been preforming well.
