MuYaoPet 3 Packs Small Betta Fish Tank,0.3 Gallon Stackable Mini Fish Tank Aquarium
These were a little tricky to open, I struggled a bit trying to get the lid off - you have to lightly squeeze the middle of the bottom container to get the lid to unlock.Definitely too small to use as a betta home - this would be adequate as temporary holding if I were cleaning the betta's tank (minimum 5 gallon as they need space to move around) or if I was moving homes and needed something to keep the fish in for a few hours until I had their tank set up in my new house. For keeping something like scuds or planaria I think these would be fine. The material is on the thin side so nothing too heavy in there and if holding liquid they can't be stacked or the airflow will be cut off. With a bit of substrate and plants/moss balls I'll probably put 10-20 scuds or ONE snail in each of them. These are not only too small for fish but also shrimp as shrimp need to be in groups and a minimum of 2 gallons for swimming around.Good containers for storing items or germinating seeds.I think these would be perfect as display cases for assembled nanoblocks/figurines, I hope the seller remarkets them as that as they even already have the lego design to match.edit: they're great for putting little pots of succulent cuttings in when I'm trying to propagate them. My cats can't stick their faces/paws in to damage the plant and since they stack, I can have a bunch of little succulent starts next to windowsill. nice!

Much too small for Betta fish, not good for pets/insects
We got these as we wanted to get a couple of Betta fish and have 1 tank for when we clean the tanks. However, these are NOT good for that for a few reasons. #1 reason being these are much too small for a Betta. #2, they way they open, you're more likely to spill water out everywhere trying to get the top off it.The holes/openings in the top are small and any food you would drop, would get stuck in it vs actually getting dropped into the tank (I tested this a few times and the result was more food stuck in the lid than into the water in the tank). Any insects, would just crawl out of the holes since there's no screen or plug for them.Overall, I think these are best suited as DISPLAY boxes and I wouldn't put any sort of pet (or bugs) in them. Also, there was zero instructions on how to even get them open (top section fits down over the bottom section, and can easily get stuck with little pressure).

Cute design, easily stackable... but not for animals.
I knew these were tiny but besides maybe some pill bugs or millipedes from the garden to observe for a bit these absolutely would not in any way sustain a fish. They are even too small for my fish fry. The air holes are also too big for anything that can climb walls (spiders for example). That said, I do like that they're stackable and the options you have for other things, like storage & display of trinkets or mini terrariums for plants. You could very easily put little anime figurines in and set them up in living terrariums or just miniature model scenes.Personally I got these to put plant cuttings in to root them, but because they hold water I might also use one or two to grow some extra aquarium plants. They do feel pretty sturdy and they have some ventilation holes on top. These do NOT stack tightly (you can't lift one with others attached), but they stack neatly and can be lifted effortlessly which I think is better anyway.Overall: cute looking, versatile, many options for being creative. Just not for the use they're made for. No living animal should really be in this permanently.

Great! But not for fish.
I love the design of this set and that it’s stackable. Great value in that it comes with 3. I think it’s a good size for what I need but I would never keep a fish in a tank this size unless I’m moving the fish temporarily to clean the main tank or something. It’s too small for fish. But it’s the perfect size to germinate my bowl lotus seeds! Would get again!

Not really for betta
Do not use these for betta. It's too small. However, you can use it only for display purposes or for culturing critter purposes.

Thin, cheap plastic, insufficient for a betta fish!
Betta deserve better. These tanks are ridiculously small, and even though betta are sold in little cups at pet stores, they need a lot more room than what is provided in this "tank".These might be sufficient for a microterrarium or invert species, but please do not buy these for your betta. There's no way these even hold the 0.3 gallons of water advertised - they are about the same length and width as an index card, and about three inches deep. Betta need at least 5 gallons to themselves to thrive.
