Great value for the cost!
Works exactly as described and it appears to all be made out of quality materials.

Works well
I was not sure if this was worth adding to my system as no one had quoted me one, and none of the systems in my neighborhood had one. We had an Easter snow storm, 70 one day and 20 the next. Water was dripping from the hose, then formed a large icicle. I didn't return the hose into my pit as I do not have a sump pump installed. The unit has an interior lip that catches the water and directs it to the opening. It will keep water away from my fan and sump pit. Great device.

A nice kit, but make sure you order the needed tap.
This is a great kit. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because they don’t include the tap to install the drain plug into the pipe below the fan. Beyond that, it appears to be simple and functional. I’d buy another one.

Works
Extend the life of your fan. Contractors don't use to keep price down for competitors, and they want to sell you another fan in a couple of years.

Good bypass for radon fan
Good bypass. I would prefer brass fittings for longevity. The hose is decent, plastic and not rubber nor reinforced. Basically, this product is a straight connector with an inside collar and tapped fitting. It does save time from trying to fabricate your own.I used 4 inch, schedule 40 cellular pipe for my radon fan. I filed the open end of the pipe to a narrow edge to better clear the inside plastic collar. I cut a 1x1 notch in the pipe end to clear the drain hole, as it is possible to block this hole when inserting pipe. Then tested with a garden hose to ensure water comes out the drain fitting once the pipe is glued in the connector.
