I was in search for a non scented tofu cat litter for a while and once I saw this litter, I decided to give it a go.My cats exclusively used wood pellets previously in all of the litter boxes and I had to change the litter every couple of days as it was becoming very dusty.After giving Fukumaru tofu litter a go for a week, I am very impressed. It does have a scent, but it has very mild, almost unnoticeable peachy smell to it, which didn't seem to bother my cats. Clumps up very well, there is no need to change the litter at all in my case, as my cats are very well hydrated and their wee doesn't smell, I just top up the litter as when required.For now I just left tofu cat litter in one of our three litter trays and cats pretty much exclusively use litter box with tofu litter in it. Very happy with the purchase, cats approved and seem to really like it, so will definitely continue to purchase as long as the price stays good!

After trying various cat litters, we settled on this one for its strong absorbency, effective clumping, and comfort for my cat. It’s natural, dust-free, lasts a long time, and is safe for indoor cats even if they chew on it. The litter controls urine smell well and is flushable, While it may need more frequent refills, we feel it’s worth the cost. It also comes vacuum-sealed to ensure freshness and quality.

I have been using Catsan clumping litter for 3 years and started to explore other options as it makes the room like a desert.These are very good. It is not dusty which I love the most.Easy to cleaningClump wellSmells lovelyQuality very goodHowever,It starts to smell like wee wee after 1-2 weeks (maybe because 2 cats are usung) which didn’t happen with Catsan sand.Some poo bits are not collectible which is quite frustrating. It means small bits doesn’t clump that well?It says doesn’t have fragrance in it but smells like pleasant vanilla.Cats are happy with it which is the most important thingfor 2 cats 1 and a half litter last about 1 week or so. It goes down quite quickly. So not that value for money.Maybe I will try to mix with the sand to make it more economical

I've been using Fukumaru for a couple of months, and it's the clear winner out of all the others I've tried before. It's not the cheapest, but it's worth the price for all the benefits it brings.- Tracking - Tracking is minima; with large-pawed cats there'll always be some tracking, but with Fukumaru it's dust-free & you can easily pick up the odd few pieces that escape the box. Since I've switched to Fukumaru my Robot vacuum gathers much less dusts off the floor.- Clumping - It clumps well and tightly; to achieve the best results you need to make sure you give the litter enough depth (this applies to most of tofu litters anyway). With other "dusty" litters there'll be a layer of dust gathered at the bottom, but with Fukumaru there is virtually no dust, so if the litter in not deep enough your cat's wee will form a pasty disk, rather than a ball. If you follow the instruction on the package it'll work well.- Odour control - Very good odour control; if your cat is decent at burying the poo, the small is unnoticeable. Wee scent is also absorbed well & unnoticeable in clumps.- Scent - As other reviews mention, there is a subtle smell; light vanilla/green tea-like scent. It's pleasant enough for me and subtle enough for my cats. I was previously using World's Best Unscented corn litter; during the transition, I had 2 litter boxes with Fukumaru and one with World's Best, and my two cats started using Fukumaru litter straight away.- Packaging - This is one of my favourite thing about Fukumaru; it's vacuum-packed & comes in small bags, so they are easier to store & takes up much less space than the World's Best.- Lastly, Customer service - This is the main reason for my review! I contacted them about a concern I had about the product, they responded promptly and contacted their factory to investigate, and got back to me with the finding. As it turned out my concern was a false alarm and there was nothing wrong with it, but their sincere communication made me trust the brand more. So thank you :-)

I only use unscented products. The litter I had finally found that worked was changed so I am looking for a good replacement as so many of them are being reformulated and as a result turn to powder and cause a dust cloud, I found this and my cat is happy with it although not overjoyed, possibly because it does actually contain scent in spite of supposedly being unscented so I am not pleased at all. I noticed it as soon as I opened the pack and after leaving it in the tray for a night it was still there in the morning, making the room smell of whatever it is. As it is made of food products I see no reason for it to smell of anything but the contents.It seems to clump well in spite of being light but one pack is not enough to fill the tray to a useable depth if you have an adult sized tray.I am not sure yet whether I will use the rest of the 4 packs because of the perfume which is a shame because it has potential. If it had been as described I would have given it 5 stars.

Excellent product. Won’t buy anything else now. Has a pleasant mild smell, absorbs wee and makes it so easy to scoop and bag. Much the same for poops. No powdery mess like others. Lasts longer than the cats an I used to use. Breeder recommended this and I love it. It may seem pricey but it lasts! Molly, my indoor British Shorthair is happy too.
