SmartyPits - Natural Aluminum-Free Deodorant for Sensitive Skin (Baking Soda Free) Unscented, Paraben & Phthalate Free - 2.9oz

This deodorant is the BEST aluminum free deodorant I have found. I have tried 7 different aluminum free deodorants and had one of two issues with every one. 1. They stopped working after 4 hours (I work indoors in an office setting, so I'm not physically exerting myself 2. They caused rashes/irritation to my underarms because of my sensitive skin. All the deodorants I had tried had baking soda listed as an ingredient and I'm guessing some had more than others based upon the different severity of my underarm irritation.I bought this deodorant because it was baking soda-free in addition to being aluminum free. This deodorant works ALL DAY. One day I wore it when I was standing outside in 103 degree weather in the sun for 30 minutes, was sweating and still had no odor 6 plus hours later. This stuff seriously works. I have been using it every day for 2 weeks and have had no irritation either!I could see some people possibly complaining about the scent, but I personally like the way it smells and I do not use perfume, so I do not have a clash of different scents. The smell is very fruity and tropical.If you go to the brand's website, they have lots of options for different smells and offer free shipping on order >$45. It was a bit pricey here on amazon, but I didn't want to submit a bulk order for free shipping of an item I wasn't sure would work for me, so it worked out well ordering from here.Overall, I love this deodorant and I told all my friends about how great it is because it lasts all day, doesn't cause irritation, and smells great! I can't wait to try some other scents.

I have tried every natural deo you can think of, big brands like Native, Crystals, Schmidt’s, etc, they all left a rash (baking soda) and had to immediately discontinue. This one goes on like a thick paste, stays on you, no payoff on your clothing, doesn’t stain your clothing. I also don’t have that 2 week detox smell you get when you switch products (chemical to all natural). I used this for a run, peloton workout and in the sauna, and it lasted. The scent is not overpowering, subtle but enough to cover you. I do tend to sweat during the work day and I didn’t smell with this deo. Honestly, this product should have better reviews. The only other deo that is similar to this, is the Magnosol (probably butchered the spelling), but you have to reapply several times a day with that one. For this one, 1-2 swipes under each arm will have you covered. I have sensitive skin and this deo truly did the work

Overall this one is a decent natural deodorant. I’ve been using it now for 6 weeks and it works well on most days to keep the b.o. odor completely gone or very minimal through an 8-10 hour time span. I have used two other brands of natural deodorant (Native and Scmidt’s) and this one is working the best out of the three. Native worked well, but due to the baking soda in it, I had dark armpits constantly and almost always had a nasty rash within one or both armpits. Schmidt’s didn’t work well at all and I also had the darker armpits and rash.This deodorant hasn’t caused any rashes for me, my armpits look normal and it keeps odor at bay for a normal work day length wise. I’d give it 5 stars if it kept the odor away all day.

I LOVE this deoderant. It smells heavenly and it works. It lasts for a few hour after application and it's truly amazing. My issue is that the deoderant actually breaks as you twist it up rendering about 25% of the product completely unusable. Now this has not only happened once. This has happened with every single product I've purchased making it such a waste of money. Please fix your component.

I’ve tried about 10 « natural » deodorant brands. This is by far the best one. The ones that contain baking soda work fairly well but eventually cause my sensitive skin to react and get a lovely rash. The other ones that don’t contain baking soda don’t work and I smell gross. This is the only non-baking soda brand that works. I don’t know what they’ve done differently or if the « probiotics » are actually doing something, but this product is more effective (in terms of odor) than normal antiperspirant is, and it doesn’t make my shirts turn yellow. It even works if I already smell a little, or if I shower at night and don’t apply it until the next morning, which most other products can’t handle. The eucalyptus/mint scent is lovely. I suppose I wish the product were a little softer - it can be hard to get it to rub in, especially in a cold room. But it’s a natural product made from coconut oil, so...whatever. I think the price is fair as well...the tube lasts a few months. This stuff is legit and I have already repurchased (trying the cucumber scent).

The scent is a little grandpa-y because of the spearmint but it’s very subtle someone would have to put nose to pit to notice. It’s not sticky.. I wouldn’t describe it as creamy it’s more like a soft wax. I tried lavanila and I was smelling like a forgot deodorant 3 hours in. 5 hours after applying smarty pits it’s still going strong. It smelled just as it did when applied for the first 3.5 hours. 5 hours later I’m not smelly but if I do nose to pit there’s a faint celery smell but by no means do I smell of BO. I would be able to meet up for happy hour without reapplying namsayin. Not sure how it would do in a shirt with sleeves... it kinda sits on top of the skin. I’m sleeveless today (usually stank by lunch time using traditional deodorant with sleeveless shirts). I think it would leave noticeable residue on a tight fitting shirt with sleeves. When this runs out I will order a different scent. Overall it’s a good one. Oh don’t forget if your changing from regular deodorant to natural your body goes through an adjustment period what better time than now since many of us are working from home?
