This oil definitely smells amazing and feels great. Not too thick and oily, and softens my beard enormously. Adds a shine and hold moisture all day long. Help with dryness mainly.

Ok I was always reluctant to use oils but gave this a try and its everything everyone is saying about it. Smells awesome, price is good but it stopped my itchiness and flakes. I like this oil its the best I've used so far

Also I paid for overnight delivery and it came 2 days later does not take away from the product being really great. The oil isn’t too greasy and it smells great, this product pairs well with the beard balm.

Started using this recently. This, by far, is the best beard oil I've used. I like the smell. Keeps my beard moisturized all day. I use it under shea butter, which I use to keep my beard under control. It appears like my beard is growing in thicker than before. Will buy again.

I was on the hunt for a new beard oil designed for Black men and came across this product. I ordered my first bottle in December and to my surprise, my delivery was a gift box set and not just the single bottle of beard oil I ordered and paid for. Hopefully I won't get some warehouse worker in trouble. LOL. But the kit was really nice and the beard oil is GREAT! My beard area is my dry zone on my face, so I needed something better than the previous oil (also "made for Black men) that I was using. I know the directions instruct you to place the drops of oil in your hand and massage it in. But I prefer to use the convenient bottle dropper it comes with. This allows me to get it closer to my skin in addition to work on my beard, then I massage it in. I just recently ordered my second bottle and can't recommend this enough. 5 Stars!

It appears that the listing may not be accurate to what is being sent out. At the time I ordered, this listing was for a 2 fl oz “Melanin Kings Premium Beard Oil for Black Men”, which stated ingredients of “Baobab Oil, Jamaican Castor Black Oil. Shea butter, Marula Oil. Argan Oil, Cedrus Atlas Oil. Grape Seed Oil, Melissa Leaf Oil. Bergamot Oil.” What I received was a full “Beard Care & Grooming Kit”. Since that kit included a “Melanin Kings Premium Beard Oil for Black Men” bottle (although only 1 fl oz instead of 2 fl oz), I will use it to provide the review of the oil and also review the kit in case the listing was in the process of updating to the kit.First the oil: The main reason I ordered this was that the list of ingredients on the listing were all natural oils and no chemicals. I was disappointed to see that the actual ingredients listed on the oil bottle did not reflect the list from the listing (there were multiple chemical ingredients and of the oils listed above, only the Baobab oil appears to be included in the oil—picture included of ingredients label). Since ingredients were the main reason I ordered this, that is a major negative for me. I noticed the ingredients did not list anything that would cause the sandalwood scent, so it is possible the ingredients list is still not complete.The rest of the Kit: There is a beard balm, beard wash, scissors, brush, and wooden comb. The overall presentation of the kit looks nice. I’ve included pictures of the ingredients for the balm and wash. The scissors are ok for cutting, although they seem to stick (which makes cutting not very smooth) and there appears to be a little gap towards the back of the scissors blades, so it has difficulty cutting on the back half of the blade. The wooden comb seems smooth/no rough edges. The brush appears to have boar bristles, which seem to be even and of decent quality.Note: At the time I ordered this the listing had not indicated a country of origin, but it now indicates China, which matches the labeling on the products.
