This is my first experience with this brand. I was using Nivea, but they've changed their formula where it was drying my skin out something fierce. I decided to search for something more natural when this one popped up.The feel is very luxurious. It's a thick gel consistency vs a cream, which I more used to. It's very smooth and not jelly, like other brands. It doesn't really foam, which is common among more natural products, but I feel clean after using the product. It's not greasy or heavy on the skin, which is a definite plus. I also love that a little goes a long way.I have very sensitive, 40-year-old skin and have strong allergies to perfumes and certain ingredients. I was a little hesitant with the smell, but it's been awesome. It smells a little strong out of the bottle, but quickly absorbs and becomes very subtle as you use it. I can't quite describe the orchid smell for you, as I've never smelled anything like it before. It's not a heavy rose scent and not powdery at all. What I can tell you is that it made me think of a higher end spa product. So, think more high-end smell vs an artificial one you'd find in most products.I absolutely love that this is cruelty free, only has 8 ingredients I can actually pronounce, eco-friendly, AND made in the US. I've never been able to find a product that hits those buttons for me. It makes the price not seem as high as if you were grabbing a different product from Target or Walmart.I really can't say enough good things about this product. This brand is a staple and I love this so much, I'm turning on the subscription for it. You will not go wrong with this product.

Have purchased more than once. It doesn’t foam up but I like that it is a more natural product and since using it the bumps are gone from my upper arms. Smells great!

I’ve been on the hunt to switch all our products toclean versions. Our whole family is really enjoying this body wash too. It does lather, leaves you feeling clean and has been so good for my skin. Definitely recommend purchasing from this company. Thank you for offering a clean option.

I switched to this a body/hair wash after becoming non toxic! Let me just say WOW! Love this! The quality is amazing, my skin is so soft! Cleans well. The bottle is well make so it doesn’t spill or leak. I feel moisturized after using, doesn’t leave me dry! Smells great! Just wish it didn’t come in plastic. But overall, amazing!!!

My FAVORITE non-toxic body wash! I heard about this product from the Alex Clark podcast and tried it with low expectations as I always think any non-tox beauty/personal care items won’t be as good.. but this is so good! I honestly like all of the scents but lavender has been my favorite.I will say it feels like I require more soap than regular body wash to fully lather on, however I haven’t had any skin reactions or felt like it didn’t work well. I have fully replaced previous body washes with this product!

So I just used this for the first time. If you’re not used to natural products, it takes a bit of realization: natural cleansers don’t lather (much), that doesn’t mean you need to use more; skin feels different after- it’s not going to strip natural oils so no “squeak,” it’s not leaving crazy stuff/ film on your skin so at first I actually thought I didn’t feel clean and it left stuff behind (bc of the no squeak) but the more I thought/ realized, the more I loved this product. Yes, my skin feels different - I almost even thought dry, and I used the lotion, too- but it’s that the product is working with my skin not stripping then coating it. I’m actually feeling MY SKIN not the coating of a bunch of chemicals. At first I thought the scent was more like rose, but while using it it is more orchid-esque. It’s not a strong scent, even layering with the lotion, so it won’t interfere with the scent of the oils I use for fragrance but will elevate it with a nice base scent. look forward to seeing how my skin reacts over her next couple weeks as my body sort of detoxes from the past mistakes. Skin stuff is my final step into a more natural home, maybe I’ll try their facial products next.

Very specialized product -like a Japanese enzyme bath. Works like a charm. Absolutely wonderful!

I really wanted to love this product. I absolutely love the ingredients, and I got the honeysuckle version. Bought to use as a shampoo & face wash. I agree with other reviews, there isn’t enough lather at all. I use natural bar soap & shampoo bars currently. Sadly, I could only use this as a face wash, and it’s too expensive for only that. That said, it smells amazing and left my face very soft. I would definitely order again if they added a natural, non toxic ingredient to help the lather. Will be returning this item so I can’t recommend it. I do like the Aleavia orchid lotion.
