Great fixings for plasterboard feels strong and once you tighten the screw you know it's tight.

Excellent quality

I saw these recently on a YouTube video and they were just the thing I was looking for. It’s a nice touch that they can ‘self-drill’ through the plasterboard but be careful about pushing too hard as the entire thing can shoot through and disappear if you aren’t careful. Also, when screwing in the bolt, it can take a while to bite and can require a little bit of pressure but be careful not to apply too much as this can forced the body of the item away from the plasterboard and to fall down into the cavity (the plastic frame on this particular Corefix was faulty and allowed the body to detach. I would still buy this without hesitation, but attention is required when fitting them. It’d be nice if there were a bit cheaper though. EDIT: This is the sixth pack of these that I have bought, and whilst when they work they are brilliant, they are far too flimsily built, and no matter how careful you are, the failure rate on these is at least 20% where the plastic housing just breaks or detaches in the wll and the metal grips just fall off. Come on Corefix, you charge enough for these things, stop making them so brittle and pull yourselves together.

Bit disappointed. Says it works ok insulated plasterboard but the insulation would have to be soo thin for this to work that I don’t even think they do insulation this thin. No reference anywhere on product or description of the wall thickness ( only max bracket thickness) not suitable for any plasterboard with more than 20mm insulation as the wings won’t open and they need to open before you can start to screw in. Similar products the wings open as you screw but these need to be fully open.

Very impressed with this product, I used these to hold sleets on a plasterboard wall . Which held a very heavy mirror. 10/10

Easy to use

Most worked fine, the last 2 just gave up and did this and split apart. Not really as reliable as I hoped considering the price!

I love these! My walls are thin and everything I hung would fall. Not anymore! They do require a large hole. So I wouldn't suggest for renters!

Hält 30kg Schiebetüren sicher an der Decke! Ich habe mit den Corefix Spikes ein Schienensystem für drei Schiebetüren (jeweils 10 kg) direkt an einer Gipskartondecke befestigt. Da hier insgesamt 30 kg permanent nach unten ziehen und beim Bewegen der Türen zusätzliche Kräfte wirken, waren mir normale Dübel zu unsicher. ​Meine Erfahrung: ​Bombenfester Sitz: Trotz der hohen Zuglast an der Decke bewegt sich die Schiene keinen Millimeter. Der Stahlkern sorgt für eine Stabilität, die man bei reinen Kunststoffdübeln einfach nicht findet. ​Sicherheit: Wer schwere Lasten über Kopf montiert, braucht Vertrauen in das Material. Diese Dübel fühlen sich schon beim Einbau extrem massiv an. ​Montage: Ging schnell und einfach von der Hand. Die Schiene schließt bündig ab und hält den Vibrationen beim Auf- und Zuschieben der Türen problemlos stand. ​Fazit: Perfekt für schwere Projekte im Trockenbau. Wer 30 kg an die Decke hängt, sollte genau zu diesen Dübeln greifen. Jeden Cent wert!

This product should be on every home center shelf. Such a different anchor and stronger than any toggle or conventional one I’ve ever used.

Difficile à mettre en place, une partie se détache et tombe derrière la cloison. Je déconseille.
