I have been looking for a press that has a moveable press portion for the ease of cleaning. Very good idea and functional! Easy to press, I can use it without peeling the skin off or use it on naked garlic.

Very nice quality. This garlic press is made well. It’s easy to use, works very well, have had no issues with the function of it. It’s easy to clean and is dishwasher safe.

I like this garlic press for a couple of reasons - it is made of stainless steel, so with reasonable care, it shouldn't rust. The construction seems sturdy and the soft covers on the handles are pleasant to hold. Perhaps the feature I like best is that the basket through which the garlic gets pressed swings out for easier cleaning.

Pretty decent garlic press. There are a few areas that could be improved upon. It fits well in my hands but I can tell that it wouldn’t do the same with every user. It can be difficult to clean if you use it too much without rinsing it out but otherwise it’s fairly easy to do so. It doesn’t always press all of the garlic (though it presses quite a bit of it). If you’re planning on making more artisanal dishes I would save up and go for another, more expensive garlic press, but if you’re just looking for something utilitarian to get the job done, then this definitely fits the bill.

I've never had one of these before so I'm not really able to compare it. However that being said I really like this. I cook with fresh garlic at least 3 times a week and this has made my life a lot easier. Drop a couple of fresh cloves in there press and instantly minced! Makes for a much much quicker process than trying to cut them into small tiny pieces. It's fairly easy to clean once done. YOu do have to remove the little garlic skin piece left in there, but a quick rinse takes care of that. OVerall a great tool that speeds up my cooking!

This works great. I've put some very large cloves in the little bowl and it has no problem pressing it on down. It's very well made of quality stainless steel and cleans up nicely. I handwash it when I wash my knifes so can't say how it does in the dishwasher. Great item to have on hand and beats the heck out of mincing garlic with a knife or using the garlic from a jar.
