Easy to assemble, and very sturdy. I wish the edges of the seat were rounded a bit.

I wasn't the one who ordered these stools for the house, and I wasn't very happy when I started putting them together. The wood is extremely light, not at all the kind of material I'd equate with strength or durability. They were easy enough to put together, but I didn't trust them and refused to sit on them. That was the end of my input, though, because I'm not an engineer and what do I know? All had was vibes, so I just chalked it up to me not liking the stools and general paranoia.That was barely a week ago. These stools have not seen heavy use since then. Only one person uses them, and only to sit when in the kitchen. The stools were bought for a 66-year-old with a bad hip and trouble standing for long periods of time. They didn't get abused, overused, or even moved around all that much.This morning, I woke up to a crash and found the user sprawled on the kitchen floor in a mess of broken wood. These stools boast a 300lb weight limit, which this person is nowhere near, and have barely seen any use. But sure enough, the so-called "durable wood" cracked right down the middle around the screws, and the wood pegs holding the whole piece together broke.Do NOT buy these stools. In fact, double-check any furniture you buy online. I noticed recently that tons of drop-ship resellers are flooding listings with the same product under different brand names when they're all just buying from the same low-quality distributor and using the same stock images. I strongly suggest you research very carefully before purchasing any weight-bearing piece of furniture, and try to stick to trusted brands.

Slightly instead would break under a heavier person but me 160lbs and husband 220lbs sit on them just fine

I love the color, size and everything about the stools. They were exact what I want but the quality isn’t that good. Stools only lasted 3 months. 2 1/2 months before the first one broke.

dont buy this...I bought a 2-pack ...the first one lost the screws and came apart after a few days...so I tried the second one and this one lasted one week but today the same thing happened...the pieces holding the stool came loose
