Rare, precious, beauiful
This coffee comes from Ethiopia and is not something you would find on your supermarket shelf, in fact it is so rare this is about the only place you would find this tin, which is beautiful in itself, and for my budget it is a precious commodity, not something I would casually throw into an ordinary coffee maker. So I chose the best I have, my best brewing device. Even making only one cup for each of us put each cup into a realm not ordinarily seen in our humble kitchen. As beautiful as the tin is, the first whiff on opening it was something I wanted to invite the neighbors over just to inhale. The Yirgacheffe Heirloom selection sounded like it would be my favorite from their wide palette to choose from, I hope to try some of the others in the future.BE CAREFULThis is ground coffee, packed in a beautiful canister that looks just like a metal tin. The top is held shut by a tiny push button. I expected it to be partially full like almost all food products but no, when I pushed the button the top popped up and coffee began to fly everywhere. There is an inner plastic cover that had become unlodged and thus wasn’t sealed. At what this goes for an ounce be very careful that you don’t lose some when you unfasten the top. I am a bit concerned as well about the canister being able to retain the coffee’s freshness, it would be best to consume it as soon as possible.YES NO MAYBEThis lived up to my expectations, a cup of coffee that I could lean back in my chair and savor sip by sip. I could try to describe what I tasted but your tastebuds won’t be the same as mine. If this is an easy purchase for you I definitely recommend this flavor and if it is a special treat or thoughtful gift I would still say the same thing plus I think this is one of the most attractive tins.

very good....and very expensive
This Kahwa! Kahwa! decaffeinated coffee is from Bacha, a luxury coffee brand from Marrakesh, Morocco. It is a very finely ground (almost a powder!) medium-roast coffee. This coffee smells heavenly and has a complex, rich taste; it's definitely a BIG step up from my "everyday" blend. I suppose everyone's palate is somewhat different, but I taste chocolate and perhaps(?) a bit of orange. I normally put no sugar in my coffee and just a bit of creamer, and this coffee is certainly good enough to drink "straight." In fact, it felt kind of wrong to introduce other products! The coffee's packaging is beautiful - but also challenging. It comes in a heavy, embossed box with a clasp closure; it's pretty enough to leave on the kitchen countertop, and I will certainly repurpose the box once the coffee is gone. That said: when I opened the box for the first time, coffee spilled out. As it turns out, there's a plastic cover inside the box that had come loose, so the coffee was not secured. Perhaps that is part of the reason there was a good 2" of empty space at the top of the box. I also worry about how this impacts freshness. So sort of a design flaw, or, form prioritized over function, anyhow. I'm sure the luxurious packaging contributes to the price, too.I enjoy this coffee, it is quite good. But for ~$80/lb, I likely won't order it again. Or, perhaps I will order a smaller amount and save it for special occasions. As good as it is, I'm not sure it quite justifies the price.

Tastes like malted trash
Complete gimmick coffee. For such expensive coffee to taste so bad is ridiculous. I tried 2 different flavors and both are horrible. Pretty packaging though, which is what you’re paying for.

Beautifully packaged, fragrant coffee
This coffee smells absolutely divine, just like the chocolate oranges often found around Christmas time. The packaging is beautiful and immediately made me think it would make a great holiday gift for the coffee lovers in my family and circle of friends. It seemed a shame I was opening it on a random Wednesday morning in August lol. The box features a unique push-button mechanism to release the lid, along with an inner plastic cover to prevent spills. The coffee itself is finely ground with a soft texture. There were no specific brewing instructions provided, so I used the standard ratio of one tablespoon per serving, which produced a smooth and pleasant cup. While I’m not a coffee connoisseur and can't speak to complex flavor notes, I found it genuinely lovely. At $38 (at the time of this review), it is certainly a premium product, but even tight-wad me is willing to overlook the price due to the gorgeous, gift-worthy presentation and the variety of intriguing flavors available.

Taste is just so-so. Packaging is cute, but messy.
I was really excited to get this coffee. I love my morning cup before work. I was dissappointed when I opened the package because even though the box of coffee itself was wrapped in plastic, I could tell there was an issue because coffee grounds were floating all inside the clear packaging around the box. The box ships with a black "lid" inside the box that I think is supposed to keep the coffee from spilling out. It did not work in my case which made for a messy unpacking. After getting most of it cleaned up, coffee grounds still remained in the lid of the box and everytime I go to use this coffee, it's making a mess all over the counter. As for the taste, intially, I used my usual amount of grounds and found the taste to be very bland, so my next cup I used even more grounds and that just produced a sour taste. Overall, I did not care for the taste of this coffee and while the packaging is cute, it is too messy to deal with on a daily basis. For the price you pay, this was more of a hassel than an enjoyment.

Expensive price tag for only half the coffee
The tin only comes half full, brought this as a mother's day gift for my mom since she love the tins I got from the bacha coffee store in marrakech. Although the flavor was is the same its ashame for the price that the tin comes half empty, this was not the case for the tins brought directly from bacha in marrakech. Disappointed.
