Could not put the wheels / casters because it’s missing the screws.. It no longer is a portable evaporative cooler but a stationery unit. But I was still hopeful. Filled it with water; set to cooling on high, only to find the air flow is so pathetically weak, that standing in front of it is as useless as this evaporative cooler. Do yourself a favor and don’t bother with this. It’s a $170 plus tax for a piece of plastic junk. Too big and bulky to return - cannot get it back in the box. Buy a name brand that has a rating of at least 4.6 or higher with thousands of reviews.

Doesn’t cool so much - fan with water. No air conditioning effect at all!

The product sucks. The reviews and the manual don't pertain to the unit at all. The product came slightly damaged. I only ordered because of next day delivery and I was in dire need of cooling down the room for both mine and the kittens sake. I cant tell if its humidifying the air. I dont know what the swing option does (it appears nothing) and trying to understand the manual doesn't help any because it's for different products entirely. Very dissatisfied and if I didnt desperately need the AC now I would return it ASAP. Oh and don't bother trying to find a way to contact the seller because they don't exist outside of amazon and there is no contact info on their stores page.

These units come mostly assembled. Only the wheels need to be screwed into the bottom. If you don't have a power screw driver, I could see it being a bit hard on the wrists. Still...everything else was put together. It took about 5 minutes to get it filled and going. It does put off a nice breeze. Don't expect this to cool anything larger than around 400 sq feet or as a supplement to air conditioning. It needs dry air to function properly, so we put it about 25 feet away from our mini-split and the air is dry enough for this unit to give good cooling. One caveat, is that to access the reservoir, you must unscrew 9 screws on the back of the panel and then, unscrew about half a dozen more on the inside. I would like to install an auto float valve. Not a bad unit for the price. I bought two.

Helps Save money off my account bill. But does not cool as large as an area as stated... The lil ice holders to use to put inside to cool the water are useless. As they defrost faster then they cool the water... So I use cryopak and refrigerated water to make it work better..UpdateIt creates a lot of humidity and the supposed cooling pads stink up the house. And seller lowered price after I just bought it!!!!

Works great until it started leaking water everywhere. Tried to look online for a diagram of this fan for repair, but the manufacture is unknown. I'm just going to repair it myself since it probably a simple plumbing issue. It does reduce the temperature by 5 degrees without the ice packs. If the repair is easy then I'll probably give it 2.
