I found this to be a very good deal due to the high protein content. I actually ate a half of a bar at a time because these bars are quite filling. Definitely a dense protein bar. They don't taste quite as good as they look, but I have an acquired taste for protein bars in general. Slightly bitter, moderately sweet, and a little bit bland in terms of flavor. But I'm still giving it 5 stars because of the 45 grams of protein - plus, the dark chocolate coating is good. I'm 105 lbs., so eating half is plenty for me. It might not be for others. This bar is also very chewy.

These are by far the highest quality protein bars I've tried. Yes, they are expensive. However, I'm having one per day as a meal replacement instead of fast food, so I'm still saving a lot of money. The taste is okay, but again the quality is very high and they hold me over for several hours. Gentle on digestive system.

These are the highest grams of protein I have found in a bar. They are quite dense. Makes your mouth tired chewing them. Taste is pretty decent. I got the chocolate peanut butter. The are also some of the most expensive bars I've seen as well. I got them on a lighting deal for 32.99. As of this review, they are 41.99. So about 3.50/bar.

These are absolutely the best protein bars available! They are filling and not terrible tasting for such a high protein content. They work great for me as a filling late night snack that satisfies my sweet tooth. They are a convenient meal replacement with low carbs and a decent calorie content. I tried the Dark Chocolate and Salted Caramel flavor and the Milk Chocolate Brownie and I preferred the taste of the Brownie flavor. The only bad thing about these in my opinion is the price is a bit high.

This is by far the best protein bar I have ever eaten. The taste is more like a mild mocha coffee and the consistency is like a soft caramel candy bar. One bar and two eggs in the morning and I am satiated until 5pm with enough energy to accomplish all of my daily tasks, including landscaping/lawn care. These bars are easy on the stomach and actually seem to have a calming effect on the GI system..no gas or diarrhea as with others. They cost more, but if you are looking for real energy and great taste, these are the real deal.

Good protein content, but really dense. While 45g of protein is nice to have in one bar, the texture makes them difficult to eat.

Item was very dense, left a bit of aftertaste that wasn't bad. It wasn't very pleasant. Too difficult for senior to eat especially with dentures. Would not not purchase again. Bought for my mom, she couldn't use, tried, didn't enjoy.

I love these protein bars. They are perfect for times when I can’t get a regular meal, and they have lots of protein, 45 grams! There are not many bars with that much protein. Very filling and I like the taste.
