Aluminum Alloy Analog Thumbstick Compatible with Xbox ONE Controller - Black (Set of 2)

I bought these to replace my now very worn, stock, rubber thumbsticks and I couldn't be happier with them!Build quality is surprisingly good for the price and I'm expecting these to last a long time due to being aluminium as opposed to rubber sticks.The process for fitting these is very simple too. To anyone purchasing, I suggest looking up the dismantle guides on ifixit.com for some help.

5 minute job with a small torx bit.. very impressed with the feel was worried might be a bit slippy but the textured edge gives enough grip for rocket league!

These fit fine into the old style Xbox One controllers, take about 5 minutes to replace the old ones so long as you have a T8 Torx and a spudger for getting the grips off.However, I'm only giving them 4 stars because although they're a really good price, particularly for being aluminium rather than plastic, the actual thumbstick caps are super slippy, and the textured ring doesn't stop that being the case.Probably be fine for games where there's not a lot of stick movements, but for things like FPS games these could be an issue. Going to try roughing them up a little bit with some high grit emery cloth, hopefully that will help.

The left analog stick was starting to wear away on my Xbox One controller, after looking at a few YouTube tutorials on how to replace them myself, I decided to buy these. They were easy to install, and have given my controller much more longevity - the ridged top edges provide good grip and comfort, especially compared to the original plastic ones. Definitely worth investing in if you want to save replacing the whole controller!

Useful & good value for money

got these for my daughters controller as her rubber had degraded over the years.. You do need a little but of experience on how to take the controllers apart and the correct tools - however you can get the tools cheap and a simple Youtube search will sort you out..the metal construction is much better than the plastic and has a premium feel.

The original plastic ones broke and with a next day delivery I knew it wouldn't be long for my son to wait to get on his games again.The good news was the items turned up on time and felt alot better than the original plastic controller buttons.The bad news is the center circle is to large and therefore the fitting onto the module is not complete meaning it just wobbles all over the place (like the snapped plastic ones).If they fitted perfectly the stars would have been a 4 or 5.

As mentioned by another review here. The hole at the bottom where the actual stem of the analog stick goes into. Is far to wide for it to fit snugly. This means they move all over the place and aren't really suited for the first generation xbox one controller (and probably all of them).
