This is thicker and stickier than your usual double sided tape. It will keep things where you put them. Very easy to use and you’ll find uses you haven’t thought of yet.

The media could not be loaded. This is some pretty good stuff! I've used other double-sided heavy-duty adhesive tape in the past, but I have to honestly say that this stuff right here holds the best. Was my daughter's birthday a couple of weeks ago and I decorated the dining room and foyer for her party. I had balloons and these twirly things hanging from the ceiling, music notes (slightly thinner than card stock), and replica 45s records (these had some actual weight to them) hanging on the walls. Some happy birthday banners, etc. You get the idea. I used this double-sided tape to hang everything as regular scotch tape wouldn't hold anything at all. Kept having to retape decorations back up multiple times. Got old real quick! Remembered I had this tape and went to replastering every single decoration. Major pain swapping out scotch tape for this tape, but well worth the effort and time. Not a single decoration fell again. This stuff is simple to use. Cut off the size you need. Stick it to whatever you're hanging, remove the plastic tab off the opposite side of the tape, and slap that baby up wherever you're hanging it and you're good to go! BUT.... let me fill you in on a little secret that only took me 103 decoration removals to figure out. You DO NOT want to just pull whatever you're removing straight off from the wall. You're going to want to gently and slowly 360° it. Then, it'll just pop loose from the wall all magic-like. And, best part about that magicalness.... the paint is still attached to the wall! Woo hoo!! 103 times later... I figured it out. Hallelujah folks! Gotta redo the dining room and foyer walls and ceiling now, but that's okay. Was going to do a makeover anyway... just didn't plan on it until heat stroke season passed. I wonder how crazy it'll make me if I leave the walls like that for another couple-ish months? So, moral of the story is that I was the test dummy so you didn't have to be. Lol. You're welcome. Oh, one more thing to know. This tape does not stick to rough wood surfaces. Just a FYI for ya.P. S. No, I do not have an empty valance rod hanging just for the heck of it. I took the valance down so you could see my epic failures at ripping this tape off the wall. Just don't do that. I promise you don't want to do that, lol.Great value for your money. Wasn't as strong as I thought it would be but I got the job done. As for how long it will last I don't know but it's holding for now.

It holds great and is very sticky. It's a little tough to cut but I really like it.
