With more than a touch of the Harry Potter about it this miniature Magic Library kit will have considerable appeal. It is much more a modelling project than a jigsaw and features many small parts which require logic and dexterity to construct in the small interior space available. As such it commends itself to either an adult or mid teen who is keen on modelling on a modest scale-it is definitely not for younger children. The kit features highly detailed small parts which have to be put together and then fitted within the cosy interior. The quality of parts is reasonable although the wood doesn't have the best finish I have ever seen. When complete the kit creates a micro library world full of pictures, books, shelves and furniture all lit by tiny lights powered by 2 AA batteries which are not supplied. It is an attractive display object but the impact is limited by its size 27 cm x 18cm leading me to think they would look most impressive if you have a group together on a bookshelf.
