Paul Mitchell Extra-Body Shampoo, Adds Bounce + Fullness, For Fine Hair

Great product

I’ve tried a bunch of “volumizing” shampoos that basically just left my hair dry and flat, but this one actually does what it says. My hair is fine and usually sticks to my head by the end of the day, but after using this shampoo it feels light, bouncy, and has way more lift at the roots. Bonus—it doesn’t make my scalp itchy or greasy like some others have. The scent is clean but not overpowering, and it rinses out easily without leaving residue. I still use a conditioner on my ends (since my hair tangles easily), but this definitely gives me that airy, full look without the heaviness. If you’ve got fine or flat hair, definitely worth trying.

I have been using Paul Mitvhell products for years & have always been happy, from shampoo one, to shampoo for color treated & now to volumizing. Shampoo is still great but the new packaging is terrible, bottle is too hard & very hard to sqeeze, also couldn't open the spout.

Good size for shower handling. Clear and soaps up and rinses well! Mild fragrance.

For a high end shampoo, this wasn’t the best. It doesn’t do a great job of cleansing your hair especially if it’s super dirty. I find myself using a lot of the product just to get it to truly cleanse my hair. As for volume, it does a great job and the shine is nice too. I feel like any shampoo—whether it states it’s clarifying or not— should do a thorough job of actually cleaning your hair. Hair softness isn’t up to par either with other top leading brands.

I bought this for my balding husband, and we’ve both been pleasantly surprised by how well it works. His hair is super fine and thinning on top, but after using this, it actually looks fuller and has way more body. Obviously it’s not a hair growth treatment, but it really helps give the appearance of thicker, healthier hair. The scent is clean and fresh without being overpowering, and I love how long it lingers. The formula is lightweight, so it doesn’t leave any buildup or weigh his hair down, which is super important when you’re working with thinner strands. The shampoo lathers up really nicely and feels high quality — not watered down or cheap like some volumizing shampoos we’ve tried. It’s also helped with itchiness. His scalp used to get dry and irritated with other shampoos, but this one keeps it hydrated and comfortable. No flakes, no tight feeling, just soft and clean hair that looks way better. Honestly, for the price and quality, it’s totally worth it. He feels more confident, and his hair looks great. We’ll definitely be buying this again.

I have thin hair naturally and because I'm in perimenopause, it's a little thinner. This product helps me get my hair clean without making it feel drained of life. I found it accidentally while taking a shower at a friend's house. I use other products for volume as well when fixing my hair, but this is a good wash and very affordable for quality shampoo.
