I am thrilled to have ordered this Simolio Wireless TV Speaker—it truly is amazing!
In fact, calling it amazing is an understatement; it’s honestly the very best product I’ve ever had the pleasure to review! My husband and I don’t disagree on many things, but the high volume on the TV and my constant need to rewind programs and films to catch missed dialogue have all too frequently been points of contention. For years, I’ve struggled to make out what’s being spoken on the TV, especially with American programs. It’s not that I’m hard of hearing—I have no trouble with conversations or radio. It’s just the TV that poses a challenge. I even tried using hearing aids, but that only amplified my problem.Enter the Simolio TV Speaker, which has transformed my viewing experience. I can place the Simolio speaker right next to me, adjust the volume to perfection, and hear the actors’ words spoken crystal clear, and the best part is it doesn’t interfere with my husband’s enjoyment either, he still hears the TV speaker as usual, adjusting the volume to his liking.Setting up the device was simple. Our smart TV allowed us to plug the supplied Optical Cable into the speaker’s base unit and connect the other end to the optical eye socket at the back of the TV. After plugging in the base unit to the power supply, it worked seamlessly without any TV settings adjustments.I can even move around the house with the speaker—it works flawlessly in every room. Whether I’m in the kitchen making a drink or popping to the loo, I don’t miss a thing. The TV Speaker and base unit come with everything needed for setup: the Optical Eye cable (or a regular RCA cable), two power cables (including the option to plug the portable speaker directly into a socket), and even a set of headphones for private listening. In summary, this brilliant product has significantly improved my life (and my husband’s too)! ?I fully recommend this clever wireless speaker and feel the 5 brightly glowing, shiny stars I will award it are so very well deserved! For your confidence in this Vine Voice review, I am under no obligation as to what I can or cannot write and I only ever leave honest and unbiased reviews whether they be good or bad.Thank you for reading this review and I hope you find it helpful.

Not perfect, but a good idea.
There are a number of reviews going into detail about this TV speaker, so I won’t talk about that here. From a practical point of view, it is easy to set up and the sound quality isn’t too bad.Battery life at 6 hours could be much better, but it does come with a separate charging cable. In all, not a bad product.

Innovative and ideal for harder of hearing.
This is a very good unit that can be transformative for elderly or hard of hearing people in the house. Its a much better solution than BlueTooth that I find is not reliable and sometimes a nightmare for non-tech savvy people to just use at will.It also does away with headphones that some people really hate wearing when watching Television and in some cases dangerous headphone cables. The Speaker (and charging dock) are very easy to operate and the whole thing is very easy to install.Worth its weight in gold liberating the harder of hearing to enjoy their television again without hurting the ears of other room-dwellers

Good alternative to wireless headphones for seniors
This is a great alternative to wireless headphones for seniors – just place this speaker near you rather than crank up the volume on the TV so you can hear it (the latter isn’t a solution when there’s others in the house). Then adjust the volume button on this speaker to suit you.To recharge it, just drop it onto the base station – an easy way of charging for seniors. The large handle makes it easy for seniors to pick up and carry. It works well and is easy to set up.

Light weight speaker.
As described in the Product Informationthe first thing to note is that the speaker isNOT BLUETOOTH.With that taken in mind this is a pretty decent portable speaker, and it will be a very usual aid for the elderly or any one who is hard of hearing. The product arrives well packaged, well protected and as everything you need included for the installation.( see pictures) The guide book is informative with various ways of set up and will ease you through, but in honesty might get alittle confusing for the elderly..Once up and running a good piece of kit.I do recommend this product.Hope this review helps.

Nice
This speaker works great for my dad who is a little hard of hearing so he blasts the TV volume all the time. With this speaker, he does not have to do that. He is an audiophile so the sound from this speaker is not going to impress someone like that but it will work for most. The setup was a little tedious but after that, it worked as advertised. The one thing that we found is that while the football games are on he can bring the speaker outside and still hear the football game so that is a nice bonus for him

A versatile speaker for private individual listening. All cables and adapters are included.
We have a modest high-wattage TV soundbar in our family room. SIMOLIO wireless speaker is the opposite of that loud home theater kind of purpose — a perfect portable personal TV speaker, lightweight and sounds good at reasonable volume. My first thought was this is ideal for a bedroom; especially with the included headset ready whenever needed.Everything regarding the build quality and tech are solid. Small in stature yet it supports any needed inputs for compatibility with any TV, from optical cable to L/R RCA, easy to setup and straightforward to use. Most new wireless speakers function with Bluetooth, but this one has more stable and reliable dedicated 2.4GHz Wi-Fi — no Bluetooth, thus no pairing requiring any user actions. The included AUX cable can be used to connect a phone or other device; RCA inputs also work with various audio equipment (stereos, record players, etc.).Portable compact convenience. It has a replaceable battery-pack and putting the speaker on the baseplate automatically charges the battery. Or else it is recommended to remove and preserve the battery when only powered by AC for an extended time (if portability is unnecessary). Averaging six-hours of battery usage per charge, more would have been welcome, but plenty for catching a show before bed.I like the carry handle and that the volume dial is front and center; the whole unit is smartly designed for ease and practicality. Wireless signal strength is strong. Sound is quite good for a small speaker; and I have no concerns about the overall construction — it cradles firmly on the base and all the components appear to be decent lasting quality. The included headset works great, is comfortable, and not too fragile to worry about falling asleep while wearing. The most complicated part of setup for most people will be configuring the TV digital sound output (covered in the manual); may need to find the specific setting for the TV but default settings will often work, so with luck nothing needs changing.

Better than I expected.
Speaker works great with my older smart TV. No interference from anything, even though I have the base by the TV (directions say not to do that). I have this next to a recliner I sit in to watch TV in a family room that isn’t used by anyone but me. It’s easy to adjust the volume manually since the speaker is next to my chair. If you were using it in a room full of people, I’d say that it wouldn’t be practical. It is a great speaker for those who have a harder time hearing certain tones. There’s a button for more base or more treble tones that you can adjust to your hearing weakness. Seller provided follow up useful tips after my purchase. That’s great customer service!
