I'm sold on these super comfortable bamboo socks! They provide light to medium leg support. You can fold them down to provide firmer support to the lower leg. Machine wash and line dry, they should last a good long time!

After wearing compression socks once in the hospital, and planning for an 8-10 flight to Rome, I was hoping a pair of compression socks might be good for my flight. The pair I wore in the hospital were extremely uncomfortable, so I was hoping "soft and comfortable" would make these socks a bit more enjoyable to wear. These socks are indeed those things. While the seller does indicate these provide "light" compression, it almost seems too light. I don't feel any compression. I have worn regular knee socks that seemed to provide more compression than these. The seller does say to wear them for several hours and that sort of "activates" some additional compression, so I'm hoping they will still be good for my flight.

You know how a lot of compression stockings feel like they are just really thick nylon? Yeah, these don't feel that way. They feel almost cotton-y. They stretch very nicely, but you can feel the support. They are also pretty easy to get off. (If you've never worn compression stockings - sometimes they are so compression-y that they are difficult to get over your heel to get off- these don't have that issue.)I wore the grey ones for about 12 hours one day. I could feel the squeezing, but it wasn't uncomfortable. I'm wearing the black ones right now, and they feel nice. I haven't tried on the pink ones yet, but they are the same size as the black and grey & don't have any unexpected holes in them.These are also more breathable than other compression socks I've had. My feet don't get as hot. If you experience "power surges", these are way better than regular compression socks. I've had other bamboo clothing products before, and I like the idea. It's sustainable (Bamboo is a grass that grows like a weed!), but I'm still a little concerned about the chemicals used. That said, nylon & polyester are also highly chemical-y, so this seems less bad.Also, I need these for a long flight we're taking soon.I am 5'4" and wear size 9 1/2 women's shoes, which is about 8 1/2 in men's shoes. I'm about 150 lbs. I bought the large/x-large size, and these feel great. They could actually stretch a little more comfortably. The tops didn't leave a mark under my knees after wearing the first pair for 12 hours. I don't know if these would fit a basketball player. I don't know if these would be comfortable on someone who had huge calves. I'm average human female sized and these fit great, but I think there is still a lot of stretch left.

These compression socks fit true to size- I'm a 9 and the L/XL fit well, like the size chart said. They provide light compression. At first, I was like, "these aren't doing anything," but then after a while, I could feel the soothing compression. Since I"m right on the cusp of a S/M and L/XL size wise, I also got the S/M also. That is significantly tighter, so I'm much happier with the L/XL. The price for these are also good- cheaper than the higher priced brands that I've wanted to try.The compression is light. I wore them for the night, after being on my feet all day. They helped reduce the ache at the end of the day. They didn't leave marks on my legs when I took them off after a few hours- there were slight marks at the top of my calfs, but very slight.The directions say to hand wash. I did not and I haven't noticed a difference. I may be reducing the overall life of the socks, but it's easier than separating them and handwashing my socks.

These socks are super comfortable - they're so soft and stretchy, and I've never seen bamboo socks before! The color selection is nice, and they wash well (I hang them to dry). The only thing I don't love is that they aren't quite compression-y enough for me - they kind of just fit like regular socks, which doesn't help my swollen ankles and feet like your standard compression socks do. So that's kind of a bummer, but these are great for days when I'm just trying to prevent the swelling, not mange it/get rid of it once they've already gotten swollen. If you're a bigger person, they might offer more compression, but for me (thin small female), they just aren't quite tight enough unfortunately. I really wish they were, because the material is great!

I have to say these socks are very comfortable and feel very nice on. They are also very easy to put on. But I had to mark down on the lack of compression. If you want comfortable socks with a bit of compression then these would be perfect for you. I, on the other hand, need a bit more compression.

I love these compression socks (15-20 mmHg) because they are more supportive than I expected! And that means more comfort for legs that need this special function for all the reasons presented in the information. I have them on now, and am so happy to feel the gentle compression helping keep excess fluid from pooling in the ankles and lower legs, as well as assisting blood circulation. I have a higher level of Rx compression knee-high stockings but tend to use them just sporadically as needed.The socks are very soft inside and out, and the colors are kind of heather-y, which I really like. They go up very easily with just a little extra attention to technique than regular knee high socks. So far, I haven't felt hot in them at all. I wear a 9-9.5 women’s shoe and these socks in Large-XL fit perfectly. There’s some extra toe room until it retracts upward a bit while wearing. Then I give it a little tug back when I start to feel the snugness on my toes bothering me (that’s just me). In other words, the “toe box” area of the socks is nice and generous.I usually wash items I’m not so familiar with (Bamboo Viscose!) by hand first, but hopefully will switch to machine wash at some point to make things easier. Three pairs of these terrific socks for 25. seems well worth it to me. And so I highly recommend them!
