I am so pleased with this survival kit! I love the case, it holds everything necessary and I feel safe having it in my glove box in case of emergency! So I love the dual action flashlight, it has a steady light beam and also has a flashing, strobe light option. Lots of important items all in one case!! This will be my gift of choice for all of my hiking friends, camping friends and single people that drive their cars long distances. I love this kit! This kid is even better than I thought once I received it and checked it out. I ended up buying more giving them away as gifts

Just got my Routine Gear box in the mail in 2 days and I’m blown away by the quality. This isn’t some cheap plastic roadside assistance box, everything in this box is made from quality materials that will last. I feel like this box might actually keep my family safe in an emergency situation. I got two, one for my car and one for our boat.

I just got my Emergency Survival kits. I love them! I ordered two. I highly recommend this kit. I immediately put small but bright LED flash light and whistle on my key chain for when I walk my dog late at night. Feeling safe at night is importantto me.Everything in the kit is amazing quality. I especially like the fact the tools are made out steal.The case is sturdy and portable. The kit also come complete with instructions. I am sure this kit will also come in handy on my next camping or backpacking trip.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  This compact kit has the specific tools I wanted to carry in my car. The knife blade locks into place and feels secure once locked. It does not feel flimsy or cheap. To release the blade to close the knife, press that little sawtooth piece of metal inside toward the outside wall. The flint stone worked fine. I didn't need to untie the cord in order to use it and get good sparks from it. The tactical pen writes smoothly. The measurements are not in inches on the multi tool. Whistle works fine. The compass works fine. Flashlight works fine. It telescopes to widen or narrow the field of light. The case has 4 latches - 2 on the front and one on each side. Nice and secure. I would recommend this kit. It's perfect for the car.

I’m a “what-if” kind of person, and constantly think of what would happen in an array of scenarios that are never going to happen ... but I’m prepared! The only thing this pack is missing is a piece of gum, since I think MacGyver always used one in a pinch.I drive over a bridge daily, and think, “How fast can I get out of the car if I hit the water?” “Do power windows work in water?” I carried a hammer in my car for years with that paranoia. So I was excited to see this had an emergency pen, so that was worth its weight in gold!When I got the Emergency Survival Kit, I was impressed about how compact it was. The moment I opened it, I was like, “Oh great, this is all in here like Tetris, I’m never going to be able to close this again!” But guess what? I unpacked the whole thing AND got it back in without any struggle. Nice touch.I also just love the cool factor that I can be Florence Nightingale if I need to wrap up a car crash victim in my emergency blanket whilst waiting for the paramedics to arrive.Additional perks... the 11-in-1 Knife Card that I keep in my wallet, a flint stone that can screw around with when I’m bored, since I’ll need some practice starting my own fire, and a compass. But let’s get real, I wouldn’t know how to use that compass, nor would I be in a situation that I need it. It does however, IMPLY that I know how to use one, because that’s why I have it, right?Overall, it’s a great kit to keep in your car, great gift for gadget guys, and cool “What-if” kit for scenario girls like myself that like to be ready for anything.

Everything was included as itemized. The knife was not very sharp. Spent 2-days removing the factory grind. Discovered a few small "air" bubbles in the tip/point. Spent another 2-days working those out and polishing the edge.The intent is to put it in the wife's vehicle for emergencies. Nice case, sturdy, wrapped a lime colored zip-tie around it to keep the kids out.

I love this little box of cool gadgets. Very well packaged and fits in the door pocket of my truck, easy to access and use, which I do all the time for some items - thankfully I haven't needed all of the items, but I am glad I have them in case I get in a situation where I do need them. Everything is good quality and works great. Flashlights are super bright. I am going to order more for my parent's vehicles.
