Wonderful Toy
This cute and colourful dog toy arrived very well packed inside a cute gift box. It came with batteries pre-installed which was great as my child was able to play with it as soon as he got his hands on it. The toy is very well made, has lots of vibrant colours and lights, and a cute design that makes it very attractive for kids. I am also pleased with its generous size overall (around 1 foot in height). The toy has a number of buttons that produce lots of lights, sounds and music when pressed. It also has numerous hand and body movements that keep my child engaged with it. You get lots of learning too including numbers, letters and colours. The dog toy is made of very fine and smooth plastic and as expected, there are no sharp edges anywhere that make this toy safe for babies and toddlers to play with. Price wise, it is probably a bit on the higher side but with excellent quality and design, it is worth it in my opinion. All in all, this is a wonderful and joyous toy with very good quality. Would definitely recommend and rate it as 5 stars without any hesitation.

Interactive play
This toy is incredibly engaging for my child. The Hound's movements and colorful lights keep them entertained while teaching letters, colors, and numbers. It's great for encouraging active participation and imitation. The music and instructions are clear and enjoyable. One improvement could be a volume control option. It's an excellent educational tool that makes learning fun.

Really cute learning toy for young children.
The media could not be loaded. As usual, the package arrived very quickly from Amazon. This LeapFrog Dance-Around Learning Hound arrived in a cardboard box, it comes with 4 AA batteries installed.I ordered this for my best friend’s daughter as I thought it would help her learn. As you can see in my video, it took a couple of minutes just to remove the Hound from the box, but once I did and pressed a few buttons I was very impressed. The Hound plays music, has a light that changes colour, its hands move backwards and forwards, as well as the body moving from side to side.It teaches the alphabet, numbers, colours etc, in a fun and musical way, I think my friends daughter will love playing with this Hound, and while playing will learn different things at the same time.Apart from all this it seems very well made, and looks really cute with all the bright colours and patterns.I could go through everything that’s in the listing description but I’m sure you have already read it before reading my review, so I won’t repeat it, you can see the unboxing in my video, this is just my personal experience with it.At the time of writing this review the price is £34.99, which I think is a very reasonable price, and I would definitely recommend it.I hope you have found this review and video helpful.

Pros and cons
The media could not be loaded. Fun little interactive dog toy by leapfrog. Great for sensory play with colours, lights and sounds. Good for learning through play as the dog says numbers, colours and letters. Also good to get your child up and dancing along as the dog moves. There are some negatives: It is quite chunky and heady for little ones. The arms are flat plastic beneath the material instead of stuffed (not as comfortable to carry around by the arm). Also it is quite frustrating for my little one that the bone shape on the colour looks like a button but in fact it cannot be pressed in at all. A little pricey as well but otherwise a fun and educational toy. Would recommend.

Amazing dancing dog
This dancing dog came packaged very nicely. I really like the colors they look very bright, children can learn them even by playing with this dog, also the quality lookd strong and durable. It was very good that this dog had batteries installed and could be used directly as soon as removed from the packaging. When this dog dances my son is motivated to dance with him and at the same time he can learn letters, numbers and different music while having fun. I like this dancing dog and I think it can be a nice gift for children. The price seems reasonable to me.

Engaging and educational
Watching my little one interact with this dancing dog toy has been delightful. The toy's movements and lights captivate his attention, making learning letters, colours, and numbers fun and engaging. The songs are catchy, and the instructions are clear, encouraging active participation. It's robust enough to withstand enthusiastic play, and the educational value is a big plus. Seeing my child dance and mimic the toy's actions is heartwarming, and it keeps him entertained for hours.

Entertaining and well made, but large scale, jerky motions can be scary to younger users
This is a bright, colourful, interactive toy with speech, singing, music, movement, and lights. The friendly-looking dog toy is supplied in an open-fronted box, with a card insert over the top on arrival, to help secure the piece and keep it clean. The dog toy is supplied with a demo set of batteries, though these don't last long. This is a fairly large toy, with a chunky, safe build. The toy is largely made from robust plastic, although there are some mixed media elements with fabric coating on its arms, and ears that have faux fur outsides and a soft, silky lining material - these are great for tactile exploration. When the dog talks and speaks, it is with a British English rather than an American English accent.Despite the fabric coating to some of its elements, this is a hard toy rather than a cuddly one - the ears and arms are hard plastic beneath their material outers, with no padding surrounding the plastic cores. This is recommended from 9 months and seems safe enough, though as with any hard toy if a baby using this loses some of their motor control and bumps into it/bumps themself with it, it's likely to hurt.In action, this has some quite robust and jerky motions, which may not be to the taste of all little ones. Those of a more nervous disposition (particularly younger children) may find the abruptness of the dancing movementd from such a large toy upsetting.
