These may look like brass but they’re clearly some type of steel. Likely plated. Very stiff.

The media could not be loaded. excellent quality and cost effective are the top 2 things that come to mind here. you get various sizes to work in most areas you need. put these on your drill and watch the rust fly right off of what you're working on.. Different sized brushes provide the flexibility for many different projects.

only used 1 so far. Need to get some rust off a metal stand. Worked fine.

Great price for the money clean things off very well

These are not brass. They scratched the aluminum I bought to use them on and very clearly are some kind of steel as a magnet sticks to them. I wish I had read others reviews.

I work for an Injection Molding company and I have a mechanic background. I bought a set of these for the shop I work in and handed them out to the other Toolers to help speed up the process of the upkeep of these Molds. As you can see they work wonders and because they are brass they don’t damage the surface.Anyone purchasing these for similar purposes I’d highly recommend them, as well as recommend keeping them from any chromed finish. As they shouldn’t, but could scuff up or scratch the surface. Great for rust removal.

Not so much brass but good quality for cheap price

Overall a good set of wire brushes for rust removal. I traditionally have used the steel wire brushes and I wanted to try these brass wire brushes for a change. What I have found is the bristles being made of brass are of course not as stiff as the usual steel bristles and as such give a slightly less aggressive spin force due to the brass. Regardless, they remove rust well. This is a nice varied set of brushes to pick from for your given application.
