Not bad display case
Not too bad. Wash your hands before installation to avoid fingerprints. This case is made in China. Dimensions are depth 5 inches ( including cover ), length 44- 3/4 inches, height 11 inches. I bought my Civil War replica sword and wanted to display it better. My sword in the pictures is 39- 1/2 inches long. Blade about 1- 1/8 inches, Handle is roughly 3" egg size. The scabbard is 34- 1/2 inches long. I used painter's tape on the wall to mark the included mounting screw locations. The horizontal mounts are factory installed. There are included verticals mounts in the package if you decide something different. There were 4 locking cabinet keys inside the box as well as other mounting anchors and paperwork. The clear plastic sword holders stay in place by simple gravity. These plastic mounts can slide freely side to side. Overall not a bad display case. Instructions seemed Okay. BE CAREFUL opening box not to scratch contents. I used a damp cloth to clean the dust out this case before closing it.

Solid Display Case
My grandfather's sword has been in my father's closet for quite some time. He is getting older and brought it down to me a few months back to possess as a family heirloom. As I get older myself, I began to realize the significance of this sword not only to myself but our country as a whole. This sword was brought back from the Pacific campaign that occurred during WWII. I wish I knew how my grandfather obtained this sword and can only speculate it's significance to him. He was a Marine and fought on the various islands in the Pacific campaign, with Guam being one I remember he mentioned. I have been told this is a Japanese Officer's Sword and am not sure how to tell anymore details other than that. The case itself is very nice. It has a felt lined back and the wood supports (loose not fastened to the case) work well to hold the sword. I put velcro on the bottom of the sword supports to hold them in place. I also ordered a marine badge and a plaque with my grandfather's name, rank, and WWII to place in the case as well. I put velcro on the backs of the plaque and the badge and both have held up great over the last couple months. I also added some push button lights on the button that are remote controlled to add a little ambience at night. Overall I highly recommend the case and with a few personal touches turned out very nice, if I do say so myself. : )

Superior workmanship, high-end appeal in an outstanding appearing, and functional display piece.
Super sword case, as advertised, extremely well-packed to prevent damage in shipment, and shipped quickly. Upon opening, found all 'hardware' and keys secured together, and sword supports equally well protected. Instructions on how-to remove the sword case from the shipment case, how-to remove the protective film covering the plexiglass, and wall-mounting instructions are all understandable and straight forward. All-in-all a beautiful display piece for a family heirloom.

Great display case
Used for one of my rifles, not just a sword case. Added some led lights around the inside , custom hooks , looks great . So nice , I got 2 .

A good low budget option
The sword case is a good low budget option ($100) that has a suitable appearance. The wood looks genuine and is very pretty. The glass works. The faults are that your spacers cant be held in place by anything to maintain distance. The securing of the glass is cheap, i found bits of hot glue in the case. You can see the hot glue thats holding the glass into place. The locking feature is nice. Overall, for the price you cant beat this product. It works perfectly for Mameluke swords. I would buy it again.

Can't go wrong for the price!
Well made piece, well packaged and perfect for military swords. Using for a military retirement presentation and you can't go wrong using this case and a value priced sword (about $90). Just get a brass plate made ($10) and buy a service crest ($15), entire package $255 compared at $700 to have a custom setup put together... Actually turned out better and more high end looking.

Great display case for your sword
I acquired my USA Navy Officer's sword when I was promoted to Commander (O-5). It was given to me as a gift from my fellow physicians and US naval officers. That was also the proudest moment in my dad's life, just before he passed away. He retired as an MS1, starting as a Steward, in 1960. This promotion was a very special time for me, my family, and my home town. I wanted to display my sword proudly but I didn't know the best option, until one day, I came across this item and read the reviews. I was pleasantly surprised when I unwrapped it from the box. The wood is a mahogany finish with a clear acrylic window. The crisply opens by flipping up two brass latches. It can be secured by a key which is included. The stand for the sword and scabbard just sit inside the case, but it's not attached or anchored to it so one must be careful not to slide it around when transporting it, the backing is lined with felt. It's an attractive design. I'm pleased that it was as accurate as my fellow reviewers who purchased this before me. I love it. If you have a military sword, then this makes a great display case for it,

Great fit and finish, awesome purchase
I was worried about ordering a display case for a sword my grandfather had. Took a chance on this one. Great purchase!! Well constructed, great finish, nice UV poly, adjustable brackets, and great mounting hardware. Would definitely purchase again if needed.

The sword display box is very nice; very well constructed and very appealing to look at. Unfortunately, it is not quite deep enough to hold the regulation Infantry Pattern sword of the Canadian Armed Forces, due to the size of the bell guard around the grip. This in no way detracts from how nice the case looks, and if you are planning to display a sword that is not quite as wide, it should work very nicely.
