Efficient torch
Why did you choose this product over others?:Excellent headtorch, light brightness is good and battery lasts well, sensor on of can be an advantage when in a group but annoying when working in close proximity to objects, that being said it's easy to turn off and on as desired so it is a positive, headband and positioning are good, overall one of the best in this price band, fit is in the pocket easily and charges quickly, well worth the money.

Great value and good features!
Bought these for running and evening walks in winter with my dog. Have in the past paid far more for big brand head torches (namely Black Diamond which was great) but my last one finally died a few years ago and I couldn’t afford a replacement at the time so bought a cheap one from a shop that sells screws and fixings. This wasn’t very satisfactory and needed replacing within a couple of months after it died. The shop of screws and fixings replaced it without any issue, however the replacement one’s switch started playing up after a couple of months but I couldn’t be bothered to go back again and have been putting up with it. Saw this twin pack had good reviews and thought I’d give it a go. Glad I did - the pack of two wasn’t much more expensive than the cheap one they replaced. They are great so far (had them about a month at time of writing ). More features than the other one. These have two buttons. The right one (as you’re wearing it) cycles between the different modes - spot, flood, spot & flood, constant red, flashing red, off. In spot, flood or spot & flood mode, pressing and holding the right button dims it gradually to minimum flashes to indicate it’s reached the lowest brightness and then gradually brightens it until it flashes again to indicate maximum brightness and then cycles back to dimming - take your finger off whenever it’s the right brightness for you. The red modes can’t be dimmed as far as I can see.Another nice feature is that pressing the button repeatedly cycles through the modes, but once you’ve settled for a mode and used the lamp for a short while when you press the button again it just turns off, rather than having to keep pressing to go through every mode until you reach the “off” mode. The left button turns it into a hands free on/off mode. Waving your hand across and close to the lamp turns it on and off without having to actually press the button. The angle can be adjusted from straight ahead and downwards towards the ground, so it’s possible to light your path well, without dazzling oncoming traffic and pedestrians. The adjustable elastic head band looks as though it could be replaced fairly easily which might be necessary if you were to use it for night time running, since sweat seems to make elastic weaken fairly quickly in my experience. On this subject it’s worth noting that they are a single, front facing unit without any rear facing red light - some premium lights have a rear facing led as well. That said, I can see no reason why you couldn’t pop two of them on one headband - showing red to the rear and white at the front, although this might be a bit cumbersome. Personally I have a chest mounted light with a built in rear bank of red LEDs which I can use in conjunction with a head torch. All in all, a decent build quality and feel, plenty of features and also nice and bright. Very pleased!Haven’t tested runtime as I’ll only use them for short periods up to 30 mins.

Great value and works perfectly.
Nice and bright, charges fairly quickly and lasts quite a while. Bought these for our holiday camping in Africa and they didn’t disappoint in fact I can’t think of a single negative comment. Highly recommended.

Should have bought one years ago
Been looking at getting one of these for a while as I regularly walk 2.5 miles a day and in the winter this is in the dark. This is so much easier to use and gives a better spread of light than my Maglite. This head torch has USB-C charging and is supplied with a short USB-A to USB-C. Has a comfortable adjustable headband that can be removed from the torch for cleaning or if it were to get worn or damaged. The torch can also be angled to get the light shining in the right place. The light from the unit is just what I need with a good pool of light from the second of the 6 lighting modes. The first mode gives a strong distance beam. You can have both a pool or light and distance beam on at the same time as well as a flashing mode and red light for a less bright light. Each mode is selected via a sealed button on the torch and the button next to it turns on the gesture mode. Finally, a hand gesture will turn the light on and off which could be useful but not something I’ve used yet.Run time on a full charge is over 2 hours and the unit is waterproof so no concerns using it in the rain.Though light weight it seems well made and feels solid - time will tell.So far though, I would not hesitate to recommend it and when it’s on sale it is a bargain.

Light up your life
Great piece of kit, this. This is my second order of these head torches. There are lots of different settings and it's a powerful beam a full whack. I also like the red light and strobing red light - good for any emergencies. The rechargeable battery works really well.

Good quality, varied light settings, comfortable to wear and secure.
Both work brilliantly. Neat and small packaging that is recyclable. 2 little charging wires, adjustable strap is good quality. The light itself isn't too heavy and there's many settings depending on what light you need. I don't know how long the light lasts yet but would recommend. Good quality and recommended from a friend.
