Charcoal color very nice; set off the house
Arrived in great shape and as described. Our front door appears more formal, yet welcoming. Much better than a department store scroll mat. Has stood up to a 15" snowfall, but since most of our Michigan winter has been a bust so far, I'll have to wait to see how it does when we finally get our snow and ice.

Great Mat for Home Entry
Mat works well in our home entryway. The sunburst design is nice enough to pass for in-home use, and the "commercial grade" toughness has already stopped extra dirt from coming in. I ordered the 6' size becuase I needed a place for the kids to take off their shoes without getting mess everywhere - works great!It is thinner than I expected so the door weather strip only drags slightly, and does not make the mat shift, which is great.It was shipped rolled-up but flattened out immediately on the floor with no turned-up corners or "bubbles".Now it's just a matter of seeing how well it holds up over the years. Thus far I am very pleased.

This last one (got 2 more) does not lay flat
We loved the look and quality of this mat so much that we purchased first 2 and then a few months later another one. The problem is that the last one is much thinner and almost feels and looks like a knock-off. Not only is it much thinner but it has wrinkles in it on the edge that do not lay flat so the wind gets hold of this mat all the time and flips it over. And last but not least it is a tripping hazard. Several people have tripped and we are worried someone will get hurt and we will be held liable. Unfortunately we can no longer return this item as the return window has closed. We were holding off returning it to give this mat a chance to flatten out. Not so.

Work effectively
This is the third Waterhog mat I’ve purchased, one for each of our three outside doors. They are sturdy, and do a great job keeping leaves and dirt outside the house. We live in Seattle and haven’t had snow since getting the mats, so I can’t vouch for how well they work with it. Other than the question about snow, I highly can highly recommend the Waterhog mats.
