HP 100W G6 Thunderbolt 4 Dock 9X472UT#ABA Port Replicator Bundle w/Dockztorm Hub (Universal Thunderbolt/USB-C Docking Station, Single Cable for Charging, Data Transfers to Any Brand Laptop)

I bought this to duplicate the existing setup that I have in my home, with my new setup in my vacation home. It does what it was intended to do. Two things to share about it. 1) with the various ports on 3-4 sides, the cuber gets combersome to move since all the wires are dangling around. 2) Works with both PC and Mac. I use this hub for my HP laptop as well as with my Mac mini (either or, not both together- I simply unplug the USB-C connector cable from one computer and connect it to the other.). It connects my computer with external monitor, printer, keyboard, mouse and flash drive (if needed). The USB-C cable that connect to the computer also charges the battery in my HP when connected. In the past when I connected the hub to my Mac Air laptop, it also charged it. This HP hub is one of those things that after you purchase it you say to yourself - 'wish I would have gotten this earlier'.

It turns out that her laptop and the monitors didn’t exactly hit it off. Let’s just say they weren’t going to be BFFs anytime soon. No worries, I thought, *I'll just upgrade her laptop.* Problem solved? Not quite. Suddenly, there weren’t enough video ports for her shiny new monitors. Enter my wallet, now cringing at the escalating costs of this “upgrade.” But then, a lightbulb moment—my own work setup! We use the HP Thunderbolt Dock 120W G4, and it handles two monitors like a pro. So, naturally, I snagged one of these bad boys for home. *BAM!* In no time, I had my wife’s setup up and running. Monitors? Happy. Laptop? Ecstatic. Wife? Delighted. Me? Well, let’s just say I’m a happy husband with one less tech headache to solve. The HP Thunderbolt Dock is my new favorite problem-solver, and it gets five stars from both of us! Now, I can sit back and let my wife study in peace while I relish the fact that I won this round against the tech gods.

everything works great. 2 dell monitors (via dvi to dp cables); usb mouse; plantronix headset (usb dongle); laptop charging; ethernet (tho i did have to first install the latest intel driver, but thats not the hubs fault); with 1 hdmi, 2 usb, and a thunderbolt to spare. just one thing; every 30 or 60 seconds a fan turns on for 5 seconds and then turns off again. It is one of the most distracting things one could imagine. i have a quiet work environment; if theres other noise around, like an air purifier etc, this isn’t problematic. Else its very annoying so i am going to buy the cheaper usb-c hub which looks like it couldn’t possibly have a fan and give it a try

I cannot get more than two momitors to function on this box. Overpriced paper weight.

Super convenient and easy to set up. A must have for Thunderbolt ports. Very happy with my purchase. The seller shipped it out immediately. I would have recieved it the next day but UPS had a late plane and I got it in two days. Everything is plugged in, all I do is push the power button and comes online. Five Stars.
