Supremely pleased!! The quality of the instrument is superb, especially considering it's beginner entry level and price point. I would certainly recommend for kids and adults alike. I'm 61, play banjo, mandolin, guitar and bass. The violin was my first instrument at the ages of 8 - 14 years old. Couldn't ask for a nicer instrument to re-learn on. To some of the negative comments out there; Violin pegs are friction set, there's no way this could possibly stay in tune during shipping. Just not physically possible. If you know nothing about setting up a violin to play, then don't screw around with it. And certainly don't complain about it !!! Any Violin is a delicate instrument, and this one is no different. I could not be more happy with the entire package. Everything included, and all works perfectly.

We bought this violin for my 5th-grade daughter instead of renting one for a ridiculous monthly fee, and I’m so glad we did. This set is amazing for the price — it came with everything she needed to start lessons right away. The violin has a warm, pleasant tone, and the included case, tuner, and rosin were all great quality for a beginner kit. The fingerboard stickers made it much easier for her to learn proper finger placement. The bridge needed a tiny adjustment out of the box, but that’s completely normal with new violins. Overall: A perfect starter violin for students — affordable, beautiful, and ready to play. It’s saving us a ton on rental fees and has my daughter excited to practice every day.

This is a really great beginning violin. My child has had this about a year and a half and it's lasted well and has been great for learning. My only complaint is that the bow did not last, not entirely certain why. The feathering is fine but the bow itself is breaking. Overall, this really has been a good student violin.

This is product is a waste of time and money. I purchased this as a starter violin as the reviews for the most part seemed positive. After having it for less than 6 hours this was my experience. 1. While tuning, the D string snapped without applying much tension. After replacing the string it then snapped again. The other strings seemed fine and I was able to tune. 2. After researching how to break in a new bow with rosin I started that venture. As I was making passes with the rosin again with very little pressure applied…. The bow snapped at the top. I knew this wasn’t going to be the highest quality violin but I have to say I am incredibly disappointed that this product fell apart in the time that it did. They say you get what you pay for… I learned this lesson the hard way. I am planning to just spend the money on a high quality violin instead of this junk.

I recently purchased this Phoenix violin, and after spending a week with it, I have a solid opinion on its performance, value, and overall quality. For 100 bucks, this violin is pretty solid. It comes with essential accessories like a bow, rosin, a tuner, and a case. While I'd say its plays quite well for the price point The fingerboard is smooth, the action is not too high, but the strings are a little thin. The included bow is decent, though upgrading to a better bow could enhance the playing experience further. this violin is easy to handle and lightweight. The setup out of the box may require some minor adjustments, but once properly tuned and rosin applied to the bow, its pretty beginners friendly Although the factory tune came a slight bit off, it wasn't too hard to retune it myself since the tuner came with a battery.

I can't speak to the violin inside but the case itself is amazing! My big 285 pound self fell on it, destroying the box it came it. But the violin case? It protected the violin perfectly. The violin still looks pretty! Not a scratch or break. Great quality case! 5 stars!

This Violin Fiddle Set supposed to come, according to the ad, with a clip-on tuner, 2 rosins, a strap and an extra bridge. Non of that was included!! Also the ad says that the bow is painted with rosin and the strings are already tuned and non of that is true! I will be returning this since the ad is false.
