I have had a spider mite infestation. I didn't want to use anything toxic on blossoms that the bees enjoy. This works well to douse the nasty little critters and suffocate them. It does have to be sprayed on top and bottom of all of the leaves, which is a hassle.

For 15 years I have been using dr. Bronners liquid Castile soap and more recently Jadam wetting agent along with cold-pressed neem oil. In fact, I’ve sworn by that for years… but those don’t even hold a candle to this horticulture soap!Wiped out serious infestation of aphids and spider mites in 1-2 applications. Since I do not want to use harsh insecticides in my garden, I pick this Insecticidal soap. As far as I know, it is a mixture of oil and soap. I use it on all my vegetables and fruit trees. It is very effective on small insects, such as aphids, spider mites, ants etc. I spray directly onto them. They die within a few minutes. The mechanism is choking the insects to death. Be sure to read all the instructions in the package before use.

Works great! Even for some insects not listed. We used it this year for saw-flies to save our trees. These little buggers can kill an evergreen in a couple days. Got another round of them this year, and did not want to kill off or poison our ranch. In the past, we have used the chemical insecticides and noticed we had no more butterflies. With this, you really need to assure you spray the pest directly. We still have butterflies this year, and the saw-flies are gone! Good product.

This is my go to insecticide. The stink is not horrible and does not linger. It is less toxic to animals than the traditional types

Website description said it was ok to use on trees. When I contacted Safer company they said they are unable to confirm this product was safe to use on my 11 Paper Birch trees for Apids. Amazon won't let me return it. Amazon return system is a joke. There is no customer service you can call!

Better deal than buying them individually.

The product works well for its intended purpose. The volume of the bottles (16oz), however could be increased 2-4x to reduce the footprint of the packaging and to reduce the prize per oz.
