Taste and portion
It doesn’t taste like konjac to me. I like that it’s portioned perfectly for a serving. Good in soups/stews or as a side. Like that they sell it in a pack. Feel like I’m making healthy choices by using this instead of white rice

Good
These are great for the price. The packs are a good size for a meal without being too much, and the taste is good.

Raw rice with contact rice
It’s bland and has an after taste and smell like medicine hope there was no added chemicals or arsenic

Instant rice meals with kojnac rice still hit the spot!
Quite tasty mix of brown rice and kojnac. All are in reheatable square trays, and you just need 90 seconds in any high wattage microwave to prepare them. I got much better results texture-wise when just cooking these in 60 seconds, any more made the sides way too hard and crispy. Anyway, the instructions and descriptions were mostly in Japanese so I could only understand snippets. These small trays do not have any seasoning or sauces included with them, so you can use anything you please with this rice to make it more palatable. I mean you can still enjoy this rice by itself, but it may possibly taste extremely bland to you. Due to the kojnac rice, the calories are almost half per serving at 189 calories per tray. Honestly, for a single portion instant meal, this is actually a good choice. Each tray is surprisingly very filling, and the kojnac rice makes them satiating. For a quick and light meal, I heated a tray up and mixed in some crispy garlic chili oil. Good and satisfying, and you could easily double the trays to plate and top with some sautéed veggies or protein. So for some instant rice, I like this. Value-wise, it's okay. If they maybe added 8-10 trays instead of 6, it seems much more fair to me since the trays are so small. But for a quick and satiating meal, I'd still recommend these.

Two minutes rice anyone?
Instructions is in Japanese, had to use Google translate app with camera. Peel off one of the corners slightly, about 1 inch, microwave on high for 90 seconds. The rice came out delicious, it was moist, sticky, and slightly chewy because of the addition of brown rice, the starch is from konjac, which is a type of Yam.

Good ready-made blend of brown and shirataki rice
I generally make my own rice, but like everyone, sometimes I want something quick and easy. I also like to vary up my foods a lot, so this blend of rice sounded like a nice variety to have on hand. After heating, I had a bite, and I thought it made a good brown/shirataki rice. It is on the sticky side and had good texture. The packaging for mine is entirely in Japanese, but no worry, the nutrition info is on the Amazon listing, and the relevant part of the heating instructions can be deciphered. The instructions say to heat for 90s in a 500-600W microwave. My microwave is of a higher wattage so I shortened the time to 60s & I pulled up one corner slightly to vent.
