Review – Black out blindsI’ve had lots of trouble sleeping in the summer because it gets bright way too early in the morning. It wakes up the kids, and they wake me up way too early.. and then I’m grumpy for the rest of the day 😃.Enter this product. As you can see from the photos, there’s lots of it.. I only used a small piece to cover my bedroom window… and voila… kids slept in and got good rest the very next morning and so did I! As a matter of fact I couldn’t wake one of them up to go to school!Te material is completely opaque and doesn't let any light through whatsoever. Installation was a doddle - just stick on the double sided velcro and attach to the window interior. This stuff will attach to plasterboard as well, but will then peel it off when you remove it.The blinds can be removed as the attachment is velcro based. That is handy for when you want to let a bit of light into the room for a change.The carry bag is handy to store the remining pieces of blinds in - it's meant to be for carrying it around but this wasn't useful for me.All in all I would say the extra sleep I've had in the few days since installation is more than worth the price paid.

It blacks out the light really well. One side is black the other is a reflecting surface. It comes with plenty of fabric to use so you can cut it to the size you need and a special cutting tool which is easy to use. It's not very thick but strong. My children sleep better with the curtain

I bought this because the kids keep waking at 5:30am on bright mornings. I got this this yesterday and last night was the best night's sleep they've had in ages and they slept an hour longer in the morning. This blocked out all the light from the window. The room was pitch dark. There sheet was huge too. I've enough for two bedrooms. The velcro patches worked perfectly. I can't find any fault in it at all. Best buy in a long time.
