Good for family fun
My family (young adult kids and older parents) enjoys the game. We initially had some trouble with the cooperative concept with lots of laughter. We did get it soon enough. We had to slow down a bit when deciding how good our individual hands were. The concept isn’t difficult. My family was making snap judgments and rushing through it. Once we realized why we were struggling and slowed, it worked better. (Go figure.)We spent a cold Sunday afternoon around the kitchen table having fun. Well worth the stumbling . Looking forward to more afternoons together.

Interesting Twist on an Old Classic
First off I know next to nothing about how to play Texas Hold’ em so I had a steep learning curve to overcome in learning to play this one. I was able to learn the game fairly quickly because of how well the rules are written and the player aids. I watched on how to play Texas Hold’em as well. This is a cooperative game in which players lose or win together. As a team you are trying to put your individual hand of cards in sequential order from lowest to highest. If you get it right you get to flip over a vault card. Flip over the three vault cards and everyone wins of course. If you don’t everyone loses. You can add other cards to the game to make it more challenging once you learn the basic game. For me this is a great way to learn the various poker hands while playing a fun game. If you like to play card games and are looking for something new to try, I’d recommend this game because it’s easy to teach, fairly easy to learn and fun to play.

Hold’em for pals!
Game components are impressive for the price. I was surprised it came with actual poker chips and not just cardboard chits. If you’re a fan of Texas Hold’em AND board games I’d recommend this game. Fun, easy to learn and the team aspect is cool. Great game to start your board game night with.

Cooperative version of Texas Hold’em
My husband and I used to play poker often, and I thought The Gang, which is a variation of Texas Hold'em, would be a fun way to teach my 10-year-old son. It is a cooperative game, and everybody loses or wins together. So, that can be good so that kids don't get discouraged when they are learning. It also makes it seem less like betting, and focuses on making guesses about the ranking of your hand. Nobody is losing or winning all the chips. The game can also be made more difficult by adding more players or using the special cards that are included. But, I'm not sure it's much easier to learn. I downloaded the app with the video instructions, and I think watching the video took longer than reading the booklet. It's said that beginners can pick it up, but it also suggests a Texas Hold’em tutorial if you haven't played before. That's probably a good idea because full rules of the game, odds, and strategies aren't discussed. It is helpful for new players that cards that show the hands and their ranking are included. If you have a small number of players and most are good at poker, it seems like this will be pretty easy once you figure out how the game play works. I haven't tried playing with a bigger group or using the special cards yet.

Easy cooperative poker
This is a great game for groups that get together to socialize. Quick and easy to learn. Easy to take on trips. All ages can play this. My kids and I recently played while sitting in an airport. This is our new favorite cooperative game.

A fun social game for all player types.
This game is pretty easy for players to pick up and it's easy to adjust the difficulty of the game based on how much talking you allow. The only downside is that the included playing cards are very flimsy, but it's easy to replace the cards with a better deck of cards if you want. This is a favorite for a casual game on game nights. Casual gamers and more intense gamers in my group enjoy this game!

A Cross Between "The Crew" and Texas Hold'em
This game adds a surprisingly simple co-op twist to Texas Hold'em poker, which results in a really fun, challenging, engaging limited communication game. It really does feel like playing "The Crew" and also like playing poker.I've played this with friends and family, some of which play poker and some which don't. Everyone has enjoyed it. Those that do play poker have commented that this game works as a training game to help understand poker, to read the value of your own hand, and to predict what cards other players may have.

New twist on Texas hold 'em -- A cooperative take on poker.
New twist on Texas hold 'em -- this is not competitive poker but rather a cooperative take on poker. Here you are trying , as a team , to guess the ranking order of all the players hands by indicating hand strength buy a numbered chip (1-6). There can be talking but players may not say what they have or directly acknowledge a guess. A Round has four times to indicate the strength of your current hand (when you see pocket cards, flop, turn, and the river. There a few other details the i will let you discover them on your own. You can add ( which i do ) or leave out as you wish.--- A hint - try not to speculate but indicate with the chips if your current hand is not better or worse than before the last card was shown.
