3.2 Gen 2 is supposed to deliver 100 watts which I needed for my VR headset (vive xr elite) this power cable only delivers 5 watts which is nowhere close to the 30watt minimum needed to charge the device, waste of a hundred dollars and a scam.

Been using this cable as a way to port forward my display port monitor and all my desktop peripherals. For that use, the cable seems to be doing fine.The problem I keep having, however, os that the USB-C plug will NOT stay seated into my motherboard port or my dock. It seems to be a combination of slop and cable-end mass.I'll keep trying workarounds to keep the cable ends plugged in securely but if it doesn't stay put, it won't work for our needs (and will be returned).

This cable is very built and works perfectly. The optical portion carries the data much farther than USB allows for but also appears to integrate copper for carrying power as well.This cable didn’t end up working for me however. I was trying to extend USB peripherals to my work laptop located across the room which already has to pass through a KVM and dock to share peripherals with my home machine. This cable appears to act as two nested hubs (assuming one for each end) and therefore makes the number of nested USB hubs greater than the 5 allowed. Because of this, it didn’t end up serving my purpose. Just be aware if this matches your similar use case.

I needed a USB-C cable to connect my video conference tablet to the PC controlling a large screen TV. Since we wanted the tablet on the Conference table, the USB-C cable needed to be at least 50'. After trying a few extension cables that did not work, I came across this cable that worked perfectly. It had to connected in a specific configuration -- source and destination -- and it only worked without any other extension cables. But, it did address my needs. Good product.

We had a 15 foot run for our conference equipment that had noise in the line. After trying a few options I found this cable. Installed the cable and the noise went away, perfectly clear picture and sound.

This cable works well, but the price is higher than competing cables with the same specs. As for testing, I was able to get a full 10gbps connection to a USB 3.2 port, and the backward compatibility to USB 2.0 worked as well. I tested USB 2.0 devices, as well as plugging this into a USB 2.0 port. Seems like backward compatibility is solid, so this will cover you for all situations. Enjoy.
