AISINVST-024 Bulk Vacuum Switch Valve - Blue

I have an engine code P0446 for few years. Finally find time to work on it. I use the compressor to pump air into the canister and find out the purge valve was leaking. First I used silicon to seal this valve. It worked for 1000 miles than the check engine light come back on again. So i ordered this valve even Amazon website said it didn't fit 2001 rav4 but the picture of the valve telling me is the same valve. I have 3000 miles with this new valve and the check engine light still off.

Ordered this to fix the VSV on the emission system of a 2003 Toyota Sequoia. Worked like a charm, and beats paying a lot more for the Toyota cardboard box.I had p0441 and p0446 codes, which for this truck are usually indicative of a faulty vacuum switching valve on the charcoal canister. Fixing it involves lowering the spare tire and removing the old valve from the charcoal canister. These valves get rusty, so getting the one single screw out that holds the valve in place is the hardest part of the job.

I have a 2001 Sequoia with a trouble code P0446 "Vent control system". Dealer tried to sell me the whole charcoal canister for $400 USD. Replaced the valve and reset code. No "Check engine" light after 1000 miles.

Nice looking but does NOT fit my 2002 Tacoma v6.
