Not very strong at first, but works well with Coraffix and some curing time
Overall, I recommend this epoxy to others. It's not perfect, and it needs curing time, but it's the best epoxy I've found for underwater frag use.I recently used this epoxy to bond eight frags, all but two of which were on standard plugs, to live rock in my tank. All of them are still in place, and a few of them were set at an angle, so the epoxy is doing the holding. I found that it works best if you use some CorAffix (read on) and hold the frag firmly in place for 30 seconds or more (be careful not to crush the coral while holding it!).The putty is two different compounds, one gray and one purple, in layers in the tube. You mash them together and it begins the curing process. However, it takes quite a bit of time to cure (minutes to hours or more), and in the meantime the epoxy has very limited holding strength. To deal with that, I used some CorAffix glue, which bonds in seconds once wet. First, I removed the frag from the water. Then, I immediately cut off a bit of the putty and mixed it for 30 seconds (wear gloves, per the hazard instructions), poured a bit of CorAffix onto the putty and immediately pressed the putty/CorAffix onto the bottom of the frag plug. Then, I immediately put the plug under water and held it firmly against the place I had planned for it to go. I held it there for thirty seconds. After that, the frags all stayed put. I used the same technique when the frag was on a loose rock instead of a plug. The epoxy doesn't look the color of coralline algae, but it's close enough and is better than the other colors in my opinion (but go with whatever color you prefer). It's been a week or so and all of my frags are still in place, so I have no complaints.Overall, I recommend this product to others, but it is best used with CorAffix epoxy as an assisting bond.

It gets the job done.
It's a good product I have used many times. There are others out there that are both cheaper and more expensive. They all pretty much work the same. Take a bit off the stick, mix it well, then use it. It works under water in and is reef safe. I keep mainly sps and have never had a problem with a coral after using this. Do not mix it under water. Mix it out of the water then stick your rock or coral to the other rock and let it cure. This product does take about an hour or more to fully cure under water. More expensive epoxies cure faster, so if your doing a big job with large rock I would suggest maybe looking at a different product, but this does work well for coral and frags.Color isn't a big deal to me. It is available in grey or red. Neither one looks like coraline so don't expect it to match. The purple might not stick out as much from a distance but to a trained eye and reefer you will see either one just as much as the other. If it's a big deal I would maybe use a razor and cut some lines into it so it's not just a smooth surface holding two things together. It is also possible to push small rocks or bits of crushed coral into the epoxy to help conceal it a bit more as well if you feel like you want to do something like that. That would also help coralline maybe grow on it a little faster, but in the end everything turns purple in a reef tank so I don't bother or fuss with it too much.

Great product and will definitely be purchasing again! BUT... you will need to buy reef glue for the best results!!
Two Little Fishies makes some very good products and this is clearly one of them. Compared to other reef safe putties.. the color is exceptional. It matches the coralline in my tank so well that people who have seen my tank dont ever know its putty.TIPS: Use sparingly. Chances are you wont need as much as you'll initially cut off. In my opinion this product should be sold in a pack WITH reef glue. You WILL need reef glue for the best results so dont buy this without it!Procedure for in tank frag fixing is very simple: Make a small ball of putty, put a dimple or small depression on both sides of said putty ball. Place a small amount of reef glue in both dimples. Dip into the tank to activate the glue and begin to harden the putty. Now stick the frag to the glue on the top and gently press the glue on the bottom to the desired location (be sure its cleaned first so it sticks!). Hold for a few seconds then begin to shape the putty to the base rock. Use a toothpick or wood kabob skewer to trim off extra. It takes a little practice but when you get it right the putty should blend perfectly (aka. it shouldnt look like the frag is sitting on a wad of bubble gum). Good luck and have fun with it!

A must have for salt water aquariums
I love this aquatic epoxy. I use it in my salt water aquarium to hold rocks together, attach corals to rock, and to cover over undesired growths. The pink color blends in nicely with the coralline algae that grows on the rocks. The coralline algae will also start to grow on this epoxy further making it look natural in the aquarium. The epoxy holds strong and cures within a few minutes. You simply cut off the amount your need, kneed it between your fingers until the color is consistent, and apply. I have colonial hydroids in my aquarium that occasionally pop up too close to a coral and start stinging it so I take a little epoxy and cover over the hydroids. The epoxy doesn't affect the coral but effectively covers over the undesirable hydroids so their stinging cells cannot harm the coral. I've also used this epoxy to fill in voids in rocks so that coral can grow in the space. Once the coral fully cures the tank inhabitants seem not to notice it; coraline algae will start to grow on it witin a few weeks, corals will attach to it, and snails will clean it like any other surface in the aquarium.

Awesome Product
Excellent product for bonding under water. If it's LPS or SPS or rocks you need to bond in place this stuff is perfect absolutely no clouding of water at all even if you manipulate it while under water. Does not send the skimmer going nuts and sets quick definitely one every reef keeper should use.
