Great for larger hands
I've tried a lot of larger diameter grips for my bigger hands. Oury, Odi Rogue and even the Wolftooth fat paw. I thought I had settled on the fat paws but I started to miss the texture of normal rubber grips. Plus those, were almost too fat and felt a bit vague on the trail. I noticed my steering and grip didn't feel that precise with them and besides, they are not durable if you hit into a tree. Just tried these Ergon GA2 fat and they seem to be pretty good. They are noticeably thicker than average grips but have a nice feel without being vague on the trail. Good cushioning and grippy texture too.UPDATE: Yeah, end plugs do fall out if you bump into any tree or branch, so pay attention if you touch your bar ends on anything and pick up your cap. I've gorilla-glued my caps in which helps but they still aren't firmly in there. Great grip though.

Grippy fat grips for big hands
Pros:ThickTackyProper minimal contourNot heavySingle lockPlastic press fit bar ends that haven't fallen out yet.Cons:You'll never go back to thin grips again.Single lockPlastic press fit bar ends that could possibly fall out.I hate ESI fat grips. The foam is way too stiff when you FINALLY get it molded to your hand. And even that is minimal. I tried several other "fat" grips but none of them were comfortable and/or grippy enough. Ergon makes smart stuff. These grips are perfect for not-small hands. Their rubber is perfect for grip and comfort. Even better is after a wash, it gets tacky. You're not slipping a grip with these.I think my only concern is that they're going to wear out slightly faster than a normal grip but since they're thicker that probably won't matter.

I won't ride anything else now
These are by far the best grips I've ever run. They have made a huge different in hand and arm fatigue on long descents for me. I've been running these on my enduro and dh bikes for about 3 years now and won't run anything else. They also last a decently long time...I ride my enduro bike 3-6 days a week March-December and have been getting close to a full season out of a set of grips. The end plugs are garbage and fall out all of the time like others mentioned. The grips are so good that I don't see the plugs as an issue though. I bought some Odyssey bmx plastic plugs and the problem was solved. They take a beating and add minimal weight:https://www.amazon.com/Odyssey-143449-ODYSSEY-Ends-Black/dp/B000QSY0D4/ref=sr_1_3?crid=QSG5BUIOYSL0&keywords=odyssey+bar+plugs&qid=1652294644&sprefix=odysseybar+plugs%2Caps%2C90&sr=8-3

Small improvements over the standard GA2 earns these grips a 5 star rating from me
The GA2 Fat grips exhibit the same features as the standard GA2's I had last year - they have a nice tapered shape with an ergonomic design. Like the GA2s you have to take the time to get them positioned correctly by rotating them on the bar until they fit your palm while you are in your preferred riding position. Once you find the correct grip position, you'll notice that the grip comfort is excellent, and that still holds true for the GA2 Fats. The main difference is that the GA2 Fats are larger in diameter (33mm total for the FAT vs 30mm for the regular GA2), something I liked immediately considering that I found the original GA2s to be a little smaller than what I preferred. And finally (and the reason why the GA2 Fats get 5-stars from me) is that unlike the GA2s, the bar ends on these grips are removable and replaceable. I can't find anything wrong with the GA2 Fat grips, for my needs they are prefect.

Great feel for larger grips and perfect for larger hands.
Just bought a new bike and the grips were way to small for an XL bike, bought these to replace them. They feel good and don't fatigue my hands nearly as fast as the smaller grips did. I also didn't notice much loss in feel of the bike. However, one flaw is the lack of texture or siping, this means when your hands get sweaty they will be slick, so if you don't have gloves, you should definitely consider buying some along with these. Definitely some of the better grips I've used though.

Nice grips.
My whole family loves the brand and we use these grips exclusively on all out bikes both E-MTB and Cross country.

Easy to Install, High Quality, Comfortable, Long Lasting
I have now installed Ergon grips on three different bikes. In every case, they are easy to install, super comfortable, high quality, and last a long time. The product is made in Germany, not rolled off of some miserable sweatshop in China. Buy quality products and you will never be disappointed.
