Insoles
My feet feel better with them

The rigidity of the arch support is just too much for me.
Comfort wise aside from the arch support was pretty decent and gave me less fatigue in my feet. Only problem though is my arches just can't handle how rigid the area of the insole arch is. In fact I start experiencing pain. So sadly they just aren't working for me even though they seem overall to be fairly good quality insoles. I gave them 4 stars and would have given them 5 but the arch issue caused me to deduct one from how I'm rating them.

Comfortable and supportive
Unfortunately I experienced a significant injury that will affect my mobility for a while the day before these inserts arrived. Therefore I won’t be able to test them to their fullest as I’d planned. I wanted to test them out on a 10,000 step day as well as a day that required heavier work and a lot of standing. Though I will be unable to carry out those tests, I have still done what I could to evaluate them to the best of my ability. If my opinion changes after I gain more mobility I will come back and revise my review.I battled a bad case of plantar fasciitis for over a year. During that time I tried different orthotic shoe inserts as well as various medical devices to help give me relief from the pain and repair the health of my feet. Those things combined with stretches and exercises helped get me to a place where I could resume my normal activities, but I still have to continue with good inserts and proper care or the problem returns. I ordered the VALSOLE 210+ lbs Heavy Duty Support Pain Relief Orthotics because they sounded like they could be beneficial for my problems.I compared the VALSOLE inserts with a good quality brand that I’ve been using for about a year. These inserts were quite similar to the other brand both in features and quality. Like the others, these inserts have excellent arch support, and though firm they aren’t so hard that they’re uncomfortable. These inserts are flexible, and have a bit more cushioning than my previous pair. Though my mobility is limited, I’ve walked in them some and I found them to be very comfortable. They have a good balance of support and cushioning. I suppose only time will tell, but the quality looks to be very good and sturdy, I believe they are well made. I ordered according to shoe size and they fit into my shoes perfectly without trimming. I’m wearing them in athletic style shoes (the kind of shoes I do the majority of my walking and work in). I choose my active shoes with enough room in the toe area that walking on inclines, descending, walking quickly or moving on uneven ground will not cause my toes to press up against the front and sides of my shoes. It’s possible that if these were going into a narrow dress style shoe or a shoe that didn’t have enough “toe wiggle” room they might make the shoes too snug. The arch support will give them a higher profile which will make them a less attractive choice for “shallow” shoes or shoes that already trend toward tight. I believe they are an excellent choice for athletic shoes, work shoes, hiking boots or casual wear shoes though. I think I can say with confidence these inserts are going to serve me well. Should that not be the case I will return and provide additional information to this review.****About me: Integrity is very important to me. So far initial satisfaction is high
I ordered these figuring they would be slightly too large and need to be trimmed; or worse, too small and unusable. However, they ended up being absolutely perfect in size. They fit the inside of my boots like they were custom made for them. It did help that I actually put a measuring tape in my boot and measured to know the size I needed, but the sizes available were true to form. The first time I put my feet in my boots after inserting these, the thickness made the boots a bit tight but not so much that I couldn't wear them. But it did put extra pressure on my little toe that made it just a little sore after a few hours. But the support and cushioning I got outweighed that minor issue. My feet were not tired and sore after several hours of wearing the boots like they usually are afterward. I am really glad I got these and initial satisfaction is high. We'll see how long they continue to support the arch and provide cushioning before they compress to the point of not being effective anymore.

Too stiff for me
I've tried a lot of different insoles, but I think this might be my last attempt at a hard insole... The only ones that have worked for me are the ones that just give me a ton of soft padding underneath, like I'm walking on a fluffy carpet... instead of these ones that try to shape your feet into some hard rock with another hard rock. The colors are nice... but they have no meaning once they're inside a shoe and your foot is in that shoe. I'd rather just have something that functioned better.

A great alternative to big box options
I’ve bought the well-known ‘doctor’ inserts for many years, but thought I’d give these a crack, especially since they’re specifically targeted to heavier weights. So far these work really well, and other than doing a little trimming to get them to fit (which is typical), they fit my shoes well. They add good heel and arch support, and they don’t feel like they’re going flat after several weeks. These may go on my re-purchase list after all.

Seemed to be working for my son.
I picked these VALSOLE 210+ lbs Heavy Duty Support Pain Relief Orthotics for my older son and he seems to like them so far but says he wishes they were a bit more comfortable in the arch area. It has been a few weeks and he says it is getting better so it may be something that adjusts over time. These are rated for heavier weights which may be a factor since he is around 110 pounds. The price is also on the higher side if your feet are still growing since you'll need to change these more often and at $39.99 a pair are as much as a pair of shoes. Happy with them but wish the price was less.

Good insole but the arch support is too hard and not comfortable with a walking shoe
Sadly we are returning. The arch support hurts with wear and doesn’t conform to the foot. I’ve got high arches and ordered the pair with high arch support and it hurts.Returning sadly
